Nope, not abandoned. But you probably shouldn't count on any actual new content, till next year.

Just so you don't get confused, there are two official versions of the game.

The VX Ace version, which goes up to v0.50, and the current version. The VX version was done before Techno decided to remake the game, remove the story and some content. The current version is just now getting some story, and has some new scenes,but they are about equal when it comes to content.

There's also a chinese "remake" by Lin Yaran, a guy who got fed up with Techno lazyness and bullshit, and decided to make his own version. But the translation for it is pretty bad.

Technically, you can decrypt the gallery, but I do warn you that TB uses 'multiple' pictures united in each scene for facial expressions, genitalia positioning and other stuff so... no to proper scenes.
