Edit 3: Okay I THINK I have fixed the issue. After editing the Variable 172 for the Hero/Protagonist/MC it seems to have fixed it in subsequent leveling ups, but that could just be a fluke, or might be due to me having 1 Stat point left over onto which the new +3 were added correctly.By the way, is it just me (or is it a bug) or does one for some reason no longer accumulate Stat points once you are past level 8?
My MC is currently a 3 Star Adventurer and I have just visited the Tower of Wisdom and Stupidity/Folly for the first time due to the Immortal Quest. I figured since the 'payout' for the Repeatable Pirate Quest is quite good and gives decent XP that it wouldnt do much harm if I grind a level and earn some spare change, just in case. However while I did level up, I didnt get my 3 stat points, much to my dismay, disappointment and confusion.
So yeah, big question: Is that intentional? Is the game simply not meant for me to be that far? Still a Dev issue or what?
I mean if it's intentional then that's a bit bull, but well... in the worst case: Any chance I can edit the available stat points or Character's stats directly?
Already tried my luck with my own RPG Maker, but the file I tried was unreadable.
I know one can edit json files directly via editor due to the soft-coding, but knowing which file and what line or keywords to look
for would DEFINETLY help a lot.

Edit: I am not sure what is the case, as Kohaku/Priestess leveled up a short while after me, but SHE did get the 3 points. So any clue what is going on?
I got one save before the level-up, but that is more than an hour in the past and it would be a bit annoying if I'd have to do it again only for it to bug out again.
Edit 2: Leveled up again and got the message that I received stat points. However that wasnt the case when I wanted to distribute them in the next Inn. This sucks immensely, as I only recently got back into the game after having last played at around version 0.5 or so and I enjoy the Game a LOT, both the smut AND gameplay and story. Anyone else experienced that issue? Any idea for a fix? Just a weird bug or any recommendations how to edit/fix accordingly?
Though the grind and the struggle at some points can be quite real.
Still damn fine game. Definetly has the potential to become Technobrake's Master Piece!
If/once it releases on Steam I am gonna buy it!
Perhaps it was just a bug due to there being a decimal value assigned to the Stat-Point gain and it might have gotten into the negative or something? Idk.
