If everything we see up to this point is any indication, that competition is not coming any time soon.
If I use myself (A mid-level professional software dev primarily using Unity) as a rough benchmark, I would say I can get a game like this to a similiar state in a bit less than half the time with 3 people if we work full time from the start. That is still around 1 year of full time work. The minimum acceptable self-paid salary for such a work would be 2.5k monthly. So I would need to find a way to sustain my life AND 3 others for the first 9 or so months.
Not adding those can also be creative preference, and nothing is stopping people from modding those in if I understand correctly. That is what happened with SDT if you think about it (Which JUST got its first real competitor with Lusts cupid.).

It's pretty funny there are people who are "hateplaying" this game atleast from what it seems.. I didn't know there was a variation of hatewatching! Some people just don't like that games don't go the way THEY want it to, and what THEY think is best from how it looks.

I'm not taking credit for them. I'm just showing it's possible and we made it possible. Mods in our game aren't your usual mods where 100% of the work is done by the modder who needs to reverse engineer the game. Game has modding utilities built-in and does a lot of the hard work for you, not to mention a lot of the code it built to be mod friendly. We have community members who had 0 previous modding/programming experience are able to put together great mods on their android phones. That's how streamlined it is.
Unfortunately. Despite being often suggested democracy chooses against it.

For example, I want normal optimization for Call of Duty, normal servers, weakening the aim assist or disabling cross-platform on PC. As a pirate if you want to help developers try downloading their game from itch.io or/and leaving a review. Helps the algorithms there. F95 doesn't have stuff like that really besides the Latest Updates page, so downloads here don't really do anything.

And if so, then I supported you by downloading from itch.io, since sometimes the build was downloaded there earlier (if it wasn't leaked online). Regarding itch.io, if I honestly didn't look into what exactly this site does, I thought it was also pirated, but since that's the case, I'll try to download it twice, both here and there, depending on where it comes out first.
Regarding reviews, I'm a person who doesn't really like to write a lot and for a long time, it turns out that I can write something sensible when inspiration comes, but just writing "the game is awesome, I'm thrilled" is not my nature (+ I'm not very verbose). Words are created so that people can describe their thoughts about what surrounds them in a variety of ways.
