I still absolutely HATE it and it's a real fly in the ointment for me. I've met this kind of system in 2 othert games now. And for both of those it was an immediate and irrevocable dealbreaker for me. SwS only passed due to beng right up my alley in all other respects. I'm not saying a game can't get past that for me. But so far only one game has and like I said .. Without the mod I probably wouldn't bother.

Cause it's one thing to say I don't like being timed (I don't either but in the grand scheme of timed shit to stress about from ticking bomb that ends the world to waiting for an elevator to come back down, it's on the way lower end) and it's another to say that this basically freaks you out and shakes you mentally to your foundation.

It's difficult to describe what being timed when i'm trying to relax does to me. It's like this persistant yucky feeling of being pulled along against my will. And a constant worry that I'm missing doing something I need to do. Now don't get me wrong it wouldn't be an issue if I felt i comfortably had the time to do everything I wanted. It's not like it's much of an issue irl. But any game that uses these systems does so with the intention of putting you under pressure. And I don't want to be under pressure when I'm trying to relax.

Now I can only talk about my experience. But surely I can't be the only person that feels this way. It's just that 99% of people who do don't bother posting on this forum or trying to make their case. They just stop playing and walk away. Because to them the game isn't worth walking into the echo chamber or taking the time to make their case in a way that any of you would take seriously at all.

I've seen a lot of people throw the neurodivergent thing online willy nilly for basically everything under the sun so you could probably see why I glazed past it, I was just tryin to understand you mate. Because I do dislike timers myself, not to the same degree mind you, but I understand the feelin of missing out, bein hurried and not getting everything done in time. I get what you're saying, but all of this takes it from what looked like a possibly more general criticism to a very personal thing. You can speculate how big the group of those similarly affected is, it's not going to be a significant percentage, and the overlap with playerbase of this game will be even smaller. It's not a group size where any catering to can be talked about. The 99% ypu talk about don't walk away because echo chambers, but because they can acknowledge tjat sometimes something won't be for you and that's it.
Sorry, but as far as the optics go you're a single butthurt guy feeling mildly entitled about the importance of your own feeling about the game. All of the above can be disproven, but you'd have to prove there's actually a notable group of people feeling the same that are interested in the game.

Regarding the payment processor situation, what would be their reaction if the game was sold as a relatively SFW visual novel/dating sim and a dedicated and completely unaffiliated fan contributor just happened to release the adult content as a mod on a different platform? Dev has repeatedly stated that there will be no fucking the Nun or the Clothier. Only bot pussy. IIRC they were even a little wary of the idea of threesome content.

They did not get banned on Patreon or SubscribeStar.
The game was not allowed on Steam, supposedly because the bot looked too child-like.

Well, technically there is such thing, in form of streamer side-missions. In which you stream in pose and clothes that brand wants. But even if you fuck up deadline it's not really global thing. You lose rep, or YOU CAN ALWAYS SAVE AND LOAD.

The problem with "those" games is that they either in constant timer, or you have only one save!

Yeah, 18 was not accurately named, if one stops to think about it. An android is a straight up robot shaped like a human, while humans that were augmented by robotic parts are cyborgs. She could have just been called Cyborg 18. But I think that was part of the story, anyways, because as far as any of the fighters knew at the time, they were facing strong robots, not modified humans and robotic life forms. As for this particular game, I don't think pregnancy module is a particularly good fit for the Sex-bot. It would fulfill some fetishes, sure, but the more analytical side of me balks at that, because a "womb" structure in the bot would have to essentially be filled with eggs from a donor, and sex-bots were highly illegal to begin with, precisely because of the stated in-universe reason of being suspected as a plot to curb the population growth. It therefore wouldn't make sense to have something like pregnancy modules being a thing, as that would basically invalidate a big portion of the story, why bots are illegal to begin with!
