Is the mod worth getting? I mean obvioulsy I'd get all the points, but are there like situations when you have to not do something or maybe not get specific points or something to get a scene/progression?

IAmAB Yes, I've seen the op images, but kind of forgot lol. Was just wondering how clear and easy everything is with this, as the "normal" walkthrough has a lot of "if x=something, then x or y happens"

a previous mod will finish the game at the last version, so you would miss any new content, best to wait for th emodder to wake up and get to work, or play it blind as I am doing right now :)

LOL Why do people keep asking a stupid question in every walkthrough mod thread to any game whether the old version of the mod will work with the new version of the game?
After all it is obvious and logical that if it is "walkthrough mod" it also needs to be updated when any game is updated to a newer version beacuse this is not some cheat mod which can be universal for any version of the game if the dev does not change the coding but "walkthrough" mod ( remember this magical word when you check such mod ;) ) which means that it's the kind of mod that highlights the right choices in the game or tells you what to do next in the game so it should be logical for everyone that if dev updates a game it always needs updating mod in the same way because otherwise you will not see the new content added in the game or the changes that the newer version adds.

The reason people ask is that some WT and/or gallery mods will still mostly function with an older mod version (e.g. 0.5.1 mod working on 6.0 game). Many mods do still function, and provide recommended choices and the ability to replay older scenes, but just lack the answers and scenes from most up to date game version. On the other hand, it's not unheard of for mixing versions to completely break the whole replay gallery including older content, and I've occasionally seen mismatched mod versions induce odd save game related crashes/errors.

So it's a perfectly relevant question to have answered, and there's a decent chance an earlier poster may well be able to verify function. I'll go ahead and experiment a bit with this one and see if I can report back with an answer.

If the game has for example a new rpy file with content for each update then it is possible that the old mod will work, but it is known that it will not add new content and you will probably not see this new content, because it is unlikely to be added in the old mod value that will jump to new content that does not yet exist.
And if game have all content in one script.rpy file then you will definitely not see any new content when installing the old mod to the new version of the game because you will overwrite yourself script.rpy with old file from previous mod.
So to sum up, it is rather logical that in most cases the old mod will not work properly with a new version of the game or even will not work at all only giving errors.
