Huh, good to know. I personally think it is fair for developers (who need to make a living too) to have a "subscriber only" version with some extra goodies, but I gotta say there are several instances where they forgot to update the dialogue for this version, which I am not okay with. It's one thing to know you are missing out on some goodies, it's another for the dialogue to directly reference things that didn't occur in your version of the game. It's missing scenes because it's the regular version. According to the subscribestar:
And secondly, the Ultimate Edition which is available for ULTIMATE Tier, this version contains in some cases bonus scenes, more explicit renders, strong language, extended scenes and more animations or different angles for the ones available in the base version of the game. Story-wise the game is the SAME, you're not missing any important scenes which are CANON to the game. This version is just an EXTRA for the Standard Edition.
So... we're better off waiting for someone to get the Ultimate version.
If the dev wants to put out a lower tier free version, fair enough. But in that case, the dev also needs to proofread everything for said free version, otherwise you will have people thinking their game is bugged or broken.
Example - this version doesn't have the an early scene with both Diane and Alice, yet explicitly references such a scene right after it was supposed to happen, generating quite a bit of confusion on my part.
