VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Obscure Affairs [v1.37 UE] [sn00p]

Fucking hell the renders in this are amazing. The actual scene writing is well done and there's a lot of variation. Some of the models are a bit peculiar and I wish there was a bit more variety, but they're to a high intentional design. Still can't figure the story out and that bothers a lot of people, but I think it's still forming. Wish they were on Patreon to support. Look forward to future releases.

First the problems...

• The story basically jumps right into a harem set up with zero build up
• There is a domination/submission choice within the first few seconds, but it doesn't seem to matter other than a slight change in the dialogue
• On that note, the story isn't really there. We simply jump from one sex scene to the next without any care for the characters
• All the girls are 100% harem whores regardless of reasons for willingly having sex with the MC. In other words there is no personality differences or differences in fetishes/kinks...they all do whatever with the MC and dominate him the entire time.

The Potential/Pros

• The MC is a stud who has natural built in Viagra (he stays hard even after cumming). Many VNs/games the male MC is an 'average joe' or a semi-fit father, but this dude is ripped and equipped
• The girls are all gorgeous
• If the story started out showing the MC and his wife on the road to divorce and the start of the corruption of the girls living with him...with their different personalities and reasons for being seduced by the MC

I want to like this, but even real porn tries to pretend there are incest situations or the delivery boy seduced by the lonely MILF, etc. No attempt at any build up, which means when things move at mach 10 out of 10 from the word Go! then it's boring as hell by the 3rd or 4th scene.

The graphics are amazing, the girls look nice and I like bad/ dominant father genre. But this is where the problems start....

The story of the game is very strange and it seems that the girls you live with are not really your daughters. At least, that's what the story tells you. Instead, it's for example a random girl who leaves her family for you. I HATE that! The whole game screams father-daughter incest, so make it father-daughter incest, dammit!

In the beginning, it seems like you get a submission/domination choice. But that's not the case. Its just this one time and changes basically nothing besides dialogue.
Then as the game progresses the girls make YOU submit to them.... Why?! Constant blue balling through the girls, getting on your knees, almost never taking action, etc. And in most cases you can't stop it and so you must let yourself be blue balled (and say thank you after that)...

The girls not only have zero personality, but it seems that the only personality they have is that they all "love to see MC on their knees" and are sluts.

This game really is a massive waste of potential!

Lacks story, setting and proper characters. The story itself isn't really constructed as a whole and it seems to me that the dev has thrown chunks and pieces into the mix hoping it somehow sticks. The only thing this game has going for itself is animation and that is what this mandatory pity 1-star rating amounts to.

I'm gonna go ahead and give at a solid 5 for a start. I would like to see the story evolve in the future updates. It is great that we can customize important aspect of main characters (wish all games had that). I am not a big fan of plotlines going back in time too much, this one was bearable. Renders and animations are very well done. Hope that dev continues down this path! Game highly recommended!

This is a great VN, establishes you as a strong "father figure" taking care of his psuedo family, which is one of my favorite genres, the sex scenes are amazing, the renders and LIs are beautiful, and it goes straight to the action while maintaining a good story. Also i Love that you can customize the names, and relationships, etc. of the main LIs, wish more games would do this. About complaints that the main character is way too ripped, the guy is like only 12% body fat and not big that kind of body is easy to get after 3-4 years in the gym...

This effort is a mixed bag. While the content itself is a little out of my personal comfort zone, I will tailor the review toward the quality of the execution and production values.

The art is good, until it isn't. Young DAZ figures are particularly susceptible to falling into the uncanny valley, and this is no exception. That said, every artist has their method of dealing with this, whether it be creative camera angles, depth-of-field, or simply morph enhancements that mitigate to some degree the odd physiology articulation and bobble-heads.

I don't see any effort in that regard here, and as such, to me the youngest "housemates" look a bit disjointed and unnatural in poses that are supposed to be erotic. To be fair, some of this will be unavoidable, given the limitations of the medium.

As for the erotica itself, I personally found it to be soulless and shallow. Don't get me wrong, unearned sex is one of the draws to these games, and I'm not slamming it sheerly for that, but when literally everyone in the house seems drawn for no other purpose than to please the MC's sexual appetites, it's hard to see them as more than caricatures. For the people asking how this can be rated below a 5, let me help:

NONE of the fuckdolls in this game have any aspirations or motives AT ALL other than fucking MC, except a throwaway interest in his pancake cooking. None of them have any personality that really differentiates them, and as such are relegated to digital fleshlights that may (or may not) appeal to the player visually without adding any real sense of gravity to what is going on.

The writing bludgeons the player over the head by repeatedly having the girls say things NO girl (even one in love with daddy's dick) would say like constantly reminding the player about their age. "Oh, you like feeling your daughter's 18-year-old mouth around your dick?"

Sex scenes are often truncated or feel oddly-paced. Girl will be gripping MC's dick in one frame, he'll be in her mouth the following few frames, there may be an animation with a one or two lines of dialogue, and then a sudden cumshot. There's literally no escalation in heat, so unless you're already rock hard because of the taboo element or the fact that you're the next contestant on a show hosted by Chris Hansen, you'll feel short-changed on quality, which the dev does try to compensate for to some degree with quanitity.

Yes, from beginning to end, you're plowing from one lewd scene into the next, and that's fine. The consistency is all over the place, however. Some scenes have really good execution, and others feel like they were phoned in. For example, there's a lewd scene where the MC is talking to his ex-wife and can fuck her in the airplane bathroom I thought felt sort of unique and hinted at a deeper dynamic between the two characters than we were shown in the narrative.

Then flash forward and your 9-year-old not-daughter who defaults to 18-years old (presumably to skirt the rules with certain funding platforms) invites you to sleep-creep and sends MC packing after getting him worked up with a visual tease that you'd expect from a 30-year-old woman secure in her sexuality.

I get it...We play these games to escape reality, but this can't really be called a story...At least not yet. It's a series of EXTREMELY unlikely lewd scenes strung together on the flimsiest of premises to provide porn with minimal context. Granted, the subject matter of this particular effort does not lend itself to traditional porn (unless you really do want that visit from Chris Hansen,) so this medium provides a (relatively) safe outlet for those looking to scratch an itch on this particular kink.

On the execution side, the UI is quite neat and minimalist, which I did appreciate, however the font is very small and will annoy players on televisions or tablets.

3/5 for good (if inconsistent) art, and choice density, though I feel overall this is a 2.5 effort, I'll round up.

I do hope the dev continues his effort here, but please work harder on differentiating the girls and making them characters rather than digital blow-up dolls. The only one who got more than a shred of exposition was Leah.

Yeah dude, we get it, you made it so people can change the ages to whatever they want and you're all over the 'underage fantasy.' If he dialed the creepy dialogue shit back down to 11 it would still be higher than the obvious ages of these girls.
There's no trying, there's no romancing, there's no rhyme or reason.
The only conflict you'll have here is whether or not you remembered to lock your door.

- The story forgets itself constantly (housemates),
- The implied story doesn't make any sense (dad & daughters),
- There is NO lead-up, you start the game and everyone wants your cock immediately. The first thirty seconds has your daughter playing with your dick and then blowing you. It's like, bitch, I just fucking named you?
- Often you'll make decisions BEFORE you have any clue what's going on, i.e. "name your daughter and then guess her age when all you can see is her ass" & "which daughter do you pick, left or right? (Without being able to see them in the scene and without ever having seen them before... like wtf?),"
- They have to point out the obvious and/or what they're thinking because they know that the writing & scenes aren't good enough to convey what they're intending to portray and/or because they think we're retarded and don't understand basic concepts.
- The writing is in that special kind of Engrish that leaves many lines completely unintelligible,
- Someone who reads every line will have the exact same understanding of the story as someone who holds 'ctrl'

(MC (friend/dad))
- The MC (dad) is comically jacked,
- The veins bulging out of his body are the size of his daughters' arms,
- His dick is so colossal that if it fell on one of the daughters it would break bones,
- His personality is whatever the scene needs to advance

Love Interests (Housemates/daughters)
- "Officer, I know her body looks like she's 7, but her face looks at least 25!"
- Clothes are for squares and blankets are for people with a higher budget
- They exist solely to play with MC's dick.
- Maybe there's a personality somewhere in all that Engrish, but from what I can decipher, it's all, "How can I touch MC's dick again?"
- That's it. Seriously. That's all they have to offer.

- Pretty good
- Interesting scenes including some locations I've never seen before, which is saying a LOT for DAZ game.
- Definitely intended for smaller display, 43" 4k monitor shows a LOT of grain.

(Conclusion)
This isn't a game about love or even really a story at all.
It's a 'dude, wouldn't it be cool if,' idea that was never thought through.
Some people that want to turn their brain off and yank it to '21' year old 'roommates' might enjoy it.

the visuals are great, the girls look fantastic, and while you can properly set the relationships so you can actually do what one of the tags are, the story itself doesn't adhere to that, despite how obvious it is that being able to set the relationship should just be a loophole for patreon and shit, the story instead makes it so that one of the girls has no possibility of being a part of the taboo relationship you set it to, since you meet her for the first time in a flashback set 2 years before the present day.

as much as i want to continue this, they really have to actually fix the story and have different paths for the taboo path you're "supposed" to set it to, and then the path where you don't change anything about them just like most other games with that sort of system do, because currently theres no point in being able to set the relationships you want with the girls without it making zero fucking sense, atleast at the point of the story i was before i decided to drop the game entirely

Two of the most attractive characters I've seen in a game joined by two of the best examples of 'butter face' ever. All piled on top of a 'ROID RAGING@# MC that is so stupid looking the actual renders can be messed up with weird things like one leg being 3/4 the size of the other. Oh and somehow all those steroids he took didn't leave him with a tiny dick.. instead it's so massive it would seriously damage any of the 4 LIs.. I honestly question how the dev thinks he can pull off decent animations with such a difference in male/female size.

The story itself is junk so far.. why even have the concept of corruption when the LIs are already as corrupt as a politician?

All in all the dev has some decent skills but I think they really need to pair up with someone who can provide some sanity.. then this might be worth supporting.

Look, I like my Lolis as much as the next guy and I loved the models in this game, but damn, the dialogues were awful.

most of the time the dialogues make no sense, it's like they used google translator. I'm fine with none English speakers making games and even if the dialogues are a little off it's fine but in this game, it was really bad!

I don't know if they made this game with incest in mind or just the normal story, but the story and their dialogues make no sense in either scenario!

The most underrated game on this site i have ever seen and I played more than 80% of what this site has to offer. The renders are top 10 easily. The content might not be for everybody but you can't deny the quality. Well done sn00p

currently 3% of an actual VN. We meet a few of the characters and their backstories are explored a little bit. The dialogs often repeat the age of the heroins that quickly break any interest. The VN could be worked on and made better. And when it does I will change the review.

then animations are a bit stiff. the charters look good even the guy looks decent would have preferred if it was actually the cute blondes that seduce you on the plane, not the old lady but it has itty bitty titties and feet so I can overlook that. This game deserves a 5 star rating. There's way too many things that's good about this game, and the craziest thing is, it's a game with smols. So this is makes it super unique, there's about a handful of these games and most aren't very good.

Keep in mind, this is an intro - about 15 minutes of content if you read through everything. Regardless, I recommend you playing it, and hopefully you decide to become a patron of the dev.

Now onto the actual review:

Renders - 10/10 - I really mean the maxed rating here. The renders are absolutely amazing, the level of detail is crazy. I've only awarded 10 to a handful of games before, so nice work dev on this one. The smols (Leah) looks SO hot it's really insane.

Animations - 8/10 - I'm rating this a little higher than it deserves to be honest. The important thing is there are animation in this game. Personally I found the one animation in this intro weird because *spoiler* Leah's face was still and not moving unlike the MC. But since the renders are already great, the animation automatically turn out great.

Tags/fetishes - Solid 10/10 - I really mean it - this game seems unreal, like from a dream. Let me break it down:

-Male Domination - Yessss finally a good male domination game, with smols involved. 10/10 deserved. +Pro tip when playing, choosing the options that increase submission will take you on the male domination route.

-Female Domination - Look, I hate femdom so much, but I gotta give it to the dev. This fetish was done super well, nothing too much over the top, and the father-daughter love was still present. Lots of foot stuff coming up if you're interested in it.

-Free Use fetish - This is what really makes the game stand out. You can ALREADY mess around (lewdly) with your daughter. No grind or no (extreme) slow burn. The story is still going rather slowly, but it's not shying away from action.

-Customization - 10/10 - The dev gave us what we want. We can choose the names, relationships, maledom or femdom, and most importantly the ages of the girls. I personally also found it super cool with the daughter goes "You like your X year old daughter doing this". Some found it forced, but I loved it.

-Incest - Woohoo! (You can turn this off by choosing different relationships)

And lastly, we have,

Story - 5/10 - Now I'm not saying the story/main plot is bad. It's just that I don't know what it is. This is still the intro so we're yet to see what the main plot looks like. Hence the neutral rating, I'll be happy to increase it in the next update.

TL;DR - Play the damn game if you like smols. It has everything you want. Maledom/Femdom you name it. You get to choose which route you want. Right now content has only 15 minutes of play time. Play it anyways, and support the dev.

Feedback for the dev -
1) Make it clearer which choices take you to the maledom route and which take you the femdom route.
2) Increase the font size a bit - I didn't mind it but increasing it would certainly be nice.
3) Increase the contrast of the interface, everything sort of blends in together making it difficult to see stuff.
4) Keep up the age play, and the teasing. It's really great.

This demo is by far the most promising I have seen for a game of it's kind. Strong foot fetish, Femdom and BDSM elements, great artwork, highly customisable characters. Early stages, so the demo isn't too big, but this is one to watch, for sure!
