Just wondering out loud before playing chapter 2. Thinking about how much the focus In chapter one is on ghouls, is it possible that the person who turned Malady and disappeared immediately did it to prevent her from being under the influence of an other vampire?

Just finished DoD and it was fantastic!

Have to force myself to hold off on this for now though. The "Craving" for more content would be too insatiable.

One scene in DoD that stood out was soap opera. Any chance to sneak Mal is now a soap addict. Maybe have that show appear in her watch history if her TV is in the background. Just make for a fun little Easter egg.

The character is so much different than in the other game now, I stopped playing to type this and say... "What they what yo" why did Malady need to change so much?

from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
