So basically abandoned but with hurriedly made endings, huh. Standard when a dev runs out of passion for the game, but when most of the art is pre-made, how does that even happen?

Congratz on a finished game, I remember enjoying one of the releases a while ago but the deal breaker for me was losing saves after new versions came out, hopefully that can be fixed in the next project, good luck.

I was thinking the exact same thing - was considering replaying to see, but would appreciate hearing a verdict on if people find the ending worth playing for before I sank the time into it again

Pretty nice project. The art is AI slop but at least the style is consistent throughout. The writing is quite good but it could have benefited from more proofreading. It obviously went through a spellcheck but there were a fair number of instances of whole words missing or typos that resulted in a real word that wasn't the intended one so it could have used an actual set of eyes. I was impressed with the various game mechanics (settlement building, exploration, combat, skirmishes) and how it all came together.

I have a small beef with the selfless ending. We don't ever get to understand the motivation/nature of the witch. Our ending shouldn't be getting determined by the actions of a character we don't really know or understand.

Still it's clear this was a passion project that had a lot of work go into it. It really gave us the feeling of exploring an unknown world and that's the spark that stimulates the imagination. While I would have loved to have animations and better art, I'll take the world building of this text-based game over unoriginal polished turds every time!

Do you remember exactly which option it is? I'm currently stuck in the final stage where I lose in the battle with the clay,winning seems more or less impossible
