While I understand why u made light abt it, many devs have actually used this format in the past to bait non ntr players in the past to play/support their game, only to add ntr further down the line. This has led many players like me to avoid such threads which aren't 100 percent clear abt ntr altogether, so glad u cleared it out.

Also in the future its better not to joke abt such stuff in comments for ur own sake and to avoid unnecessary headaches, bcoz of how infamous this format has become. Bad times i know.

Sorry for the confusion! I'm very much aware of this tactic, hence I made it obvious that my joke was a making fun of it (the tactic). I realized I was too confident that all players would get the joke and laugh along with it, especially since the VN is almost reaching its end, and they're too deep into the story that they won't bamboozled by the joke. Like I said, I underestimated Office Rivals would get new players.

Hmm maybe I've been joking way too much the past couple of months, going as far as making an actual short VN as part of April Fools, hahahaa!

As for the headaches, I had received some hate (and even racist) messages since Chapter 4, so I'm accustomed to it. Best I can do is ignore. Because ultimately, the original vision of the story still stands.

This is the first time I've been invested in the characters on this little porno game site, so thank you for sharing your game. The story and characters are great and it sounds like you have a really strong vision so kudos to you. Will def buy the Steam version.

Yes we had a short conversation previously about Android and I have tried the game and I really enjoy it so thats cause for being bummed about lack of availability for Android. But I'm sure I'll get to play it soon enough

That's an understandable take. I have tried my best to establish Nanako as a sensible character with her own urgency and agency, but I understand that I cannot control players' interpretation of going to a different direction than what I intend.

OK so, a fair bit of warning (RANT ALERT!), we're going into a devlog territory here, so allow me to ramble a bit about the character design (it's no secret I enjoy doing this! Haha!):

This goes the same with Michelle's confidence issue, Gee's belief in his ability to move away from MC's shadows, etc. It's true that these are secondary characters, and they don't require such depth, but their characterization gives the story's universe more "life". In Friendly Favours, Yuka dreamed to return to journalism. In Office Rivals, she can be seen in Chapter 2, living her dream. This gives more life to her character.

TLDR: My vision is to give characterizations to the characters, and that they won't necessarily fall into certain nonsensical tropes or predictable archtypes.

But for real just because i like a few NTR games doesn't mean i can't appreciate a great vanilla game. tbh it was very funny reading my previous posts and seeing mase88 just keeps repeating there wont be no ntr and at the time i thought he was stupid (sorry mase) and all the time it was me whos stupid :<, and at the end of ch4 p1 when i saw the picture i said lord if ya can hear me please dont let it turn into a ntr vn or at least make it avoidable, it was very mean of the dev to play with us sweet vanilla boys like that

You missed the important point of the conversation at the office: a cover-up story that should've been dismissed easily, but instead taken too seriously by her colleagues.

1. Their colleagues don't know what happened to Nanako the previous night.
2. They only see what happens at the office, without context.
3. They don't know who Isamu is, but they see him sending her flowers.
4. So now they will speculate (scandalous!).
5. She can't just explain things, because it's her personal life, it's unprofessional to do so at work.
6. Gee and Michelle know people will speculate.
7. So they fabricate a story, something that's enough to 'explain' why Isamu keeps coming over, but also trivial enough to quickly move on from.
8. In their fake story, they reduce Isamu to a just creepy stalker.
9. Nanako is relieved that there's a cover story, but she wants to move on.
10. Her colleagues take the fabricated story wayyy too seriously.
11. They crowd her and comfort her based on that fake story.
12. It gets awkward for her, she wants to get away from the scrutiny.

Therefore, "It's not that serious. I don't know him, he's just a creepy stalker sending me flowers. Can we just move on from this, now that you guys know the 'truth' (in which I'm not painted in a scandalous light)?"

Basically it's one of those awkward social situations that happen all the time. Especially in a professional setting, you gotta be on your toes with these things. I thought it was clear enough.

Thanks for the feedback, though. I'll modify the writing a little bit so that it's clearer.
