They already did 4 Game Over animations for Bates and now there's two more?
They also forgot that there are two places that Lono'E and Goliath can grab Joe simultaneously but...
Anyways, Bates just fucked up everything. in many ways.

How much are we betting that Bates is someone's fursona and they're just worshipping that person by making them the new main character

I could see it happening if some weirdo suddenly dropped 5000 dollars on their patreon and they started treating this mysterious donor like some god

More than that: They "bought" Bates and changed all original concept, demanding all the features he wanted and even changed the cutscenes to make Joe a crazy mahou shoujo

Basically it's the "New form" that Joe transforms into when he defeats Bates. Something NO ONE ASKED FOR and they didn't even hint on their trello neither any updates.
Better than that, it's better to play when you just ignore all dialogs. The story absolutely has no sense at all.

thats kind if a pain that there still no story updates i think this whole year we moved a bit from where it was lol /the animations arent bad they good but fuck i do want to play the game Mosty than being more of a animation viewer per se

Basically we gotta thank Red and the other animator guys that helped him - He's basically doing what we do actually care for in the game.
Ket? Sincerely he doesn't know what he's doing anymore. He started something, then changed again, again, again and now he just tangled himself to a point I swear he regretted making Bates so complex.

Wish they could just say "screw it, let's it a beat-em-up game like the rest", because they would be THE BEST in their genre and all anims would fit perfectly.
This game as a Metroidvania is just lame, since you can avoid every single enemy in the game with no punishment. You just fuck the enemies whenever you like. And exploring the maps feels just like a chore.
