This game and previous saves still work fine for me in the Opera browser.. There are still incomplete paths or sections. Great writing for this story overall.
I would assume privacy is their answer. Chrome/Chromium gets a lot of shit for lacking it/collecting data, and Firefox gets praised for being privacy-focused - or at least they claim they are. They just manage to out-bullshit the ultimate bullshitters, so to speak. All browsers, sans Tor/Onion or of the like, track data whether they admit it or not. Just like how VPNs claim they don't keep logs of what you do (they all do.).Kinda want to know those reasons

I do the same thing, chrome for normal stuff, firefox for porn. People just automatically think of chrome as being the go to browser so all I have to do is hide away the firefox.exe and no-one ever notices.Basically... yes privacy...at several levels. I use chrome at work signed in and share info between devices. One this personal machine I never sign into chrome unless I really need to access something that requires me to do so. On each device you can choose whether to synch or not but it seems that every time chrome does an update, they try to be helpful and connect me to all my other devices and sometimes they don't make it apparent that they're trying to do so. So my way of managing things is leave chrome alone on this machine and use firefox to look at all the adult things I can get my hands on. This way I don't have to worry about chrome sharing something I'd rather keep private. The other privacy thing is for when I have someone here looking over my shoulder. I can use chrome and all they see is my clean chrome with very few bookmarks, very little page history. When they leave I can open firefox and resume my depraved online existence![]()
So ... not pushing the developer... I appreciate the game and have since it first came out. But if it becomes a chrome only playable game then my interest will rapidly drop to zero. That choice is on me. No hard feelings if they decide not to make it firefox friendly.
What specifically isn't working for people in firefox, Is it just loading from file on the harddrive or is there any other save/load function not working?
Is there anything else throwing up an error?
If it is just failing to load from file is this still the case if the save is moved to the same folder as the html file before trying to load it?
It works fine on firefox for me but I know I made a few changes to firefox config in the past so the more I know the more likely I can work out what change means it works for me.
Starting from a clean game with no prior saves... I tried this with saving both regular and saving to local drive. It will save just fine. When you try to resume from a save it fails and put up the error message " The operation is insecure.. Aborting load. " Sometimes it will load fine but it seems that the later you get into the game the more likely it will fail to load and throw the error.
The second week is work-in-progress with large chunks still missing, so yeah, that sounds quite normal.it won't let me go past day 12, is that normal?
Dang, yeah I hope it gets finished one day.The second week is work-in-progress with large chunks still missing, so yeah, that sounds quite normal.

I really liked what little there is of his storyline and hope we see more of it some day.I take it the Will storyline still hasn't been advanced from where it was like 2 years ago?
