i GOT AN ERROR SAYING THE FORMAT WASNT COMPATIBLE

Just zip the entire save folder and upload the zip... that always works.
Maybe add a comment which save is for what

I need the global file, not the config file.
The config file is just your game settings like sound and such, the global file is connected to the save file structure, and allows me to open it.

So question how do you get money in this game? I just started recently and have a good few stainless tools but no one in the merchants guild will talk to me despite the main character mentioning tradding for cash earlier so not sure what to do.

... Your save file clearly says that you completed the Diplomat quest already.
The reason you couldn't start the quest is because you completed it, and then forgot that you completed it...

One question, if I complete all the trials before the investigations, will I be locked out of the mission to investigate the matriarchs? Because when I finished the trials, it said I would receive this mission after completing the investigations, but after completing them, the mission didn't appear. Is this the end of the current update? Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas, and can you remind me where it said that you world be able to investigate the matriarchs?

I don't recall ever writing this, as no matriarch investigation is programmed, although I may have accidentally alluded to this in some old/out of date dialogue.

As for what is supposed to be unlocked after completing the four investigations, you will unlock the patrol option, which helps the player establish authority over the city, which prevents bad events from triggering when clicking next turn in the property management menu.

Thanks for replying, the dialogue appears immediately after completing all the trials. I hadn't done the missions with the daughters yet because I was afraid the save might have bugged, but now that I know that mission doesn't exist I'll keep playing. Good game btw, I like how even being at the maximum level from the beginning you still feel that your character is progressing and getting stronger because of the new abilities he discovers.

Thanks, I'm glad you don't find the main character overpowered, I took a bit of a creative risk making him max level, rather than following the formula of zero to anti-hero.

I'll look into the dialogue you mentioned and clean it up a bit to make it less confusing.

Have you ever used the key item, enchanted tent?
The quest is triggered by interacting with the fireplace in the center of the tent.
The tent can only be used when you are playing as the daughters exploring the world outside, it's a mobile rest area.

i still find it kinda odd for all this so called "power & knowledge" the omni lord has that he has to use somebody else's body, shouldn't they be able to just make one from scratch,

Omni chooses to remain in his sanctum since it's close to the only power source that can keep him alive and grant him Mana. Remember the Algea is considered gone in the rest of the underworld since Aeons.
On the other hand he has no idea what complex bodies are like, also he thought he killed the only intelligent people in a missunderstanding, he wandered the underworld for Aeons without EVER finding any intelligent people which he would have liked to interact with, learning in his sanctum was the only thing he had found novell enough to entertain him.

and why is it that the elves are the only ones to see him, out of all the so called years when they killed the chithulu people to then, you telling me NOBODY ever went their too. NOBODY else bumped into him. no RANDOM explorer, adventurer, or some one.

Remember that the underworld had wittnessed atleast one genocidal war, that they are even now still recovering from.
His ruins are far away from any known settlement so even trader didn't bother to get there... not to mention the area inbetween is teeming with dangerous monsters... atleast dangerous to the Drows.

He did make a body from scratch, using the Drow AND the Cthulhu people forms as a template, that's why Anu is a mind reader.

As for why Omni was never found before, it's because he was buried, the drow had to excavate his home to find him.
The drow themselves don't even know about the Cthulhu people, they think all ancient ruins are drow or demon in make.

A better question would be why did the demons who for much of history were in control of the underneath failed to find Omni. And the answer to that is, they were to busy exterminating the other Penumbra colonies (They're aliens by the way), and plundering their treasures and stealing their powers. And when finished killing the Penumbra, they moved to conquer the surface world. (They lost by the way, the heroes came and slew them, which created a whole new set of problems for the world).

I plan to introduce a quest line to teleport too and explore the surface world soon, to give the players a better understanding of what the heck happened to the demon king, and why the drow know so little of the surface, as well as why the demons hide in the nether (The cavern system below the Underneath).

that's what i was talking about, for both things. between when omni killed all those creatures in it's beginning to when the elves got there, with there being multiple centuries b4 the elves got there, there had to be someone/people who also tried to excavate to end up there as well. and again he used those two creatures, if they are so powerful & smart, why did they need a template? with them trying to master all their power shouldn't at one point during their learning they'd get curious if the could shapeshift/transform, and thus try to make a body for themselves b4 running into the elves?

also side question are you going to create a look for what the omni lord looks or are you going to just leave their body/face a black void under the hood? because i have a idea for a look. you can have the elf body/and head shape, probably like a luffy build u know a wiry muscular frame. eyes, mouth,) of the Cthulhu people this View attachment 5581352 have elf ears and nose, as well as tentacles as hair that look short and slicked back kind of like dmc 3 virgil's hairstyle. and medium or long tentacles on their back that look like the one's from tokyo ghoul, and dual usage for offence and flight so the cometic look of

one with target all and one targets one and as a evasive for one attack, and you don't need to show great detail most of it you can probably just describe in texts, with the face being visual in the pictures and the wings/tentacles can just be the same color blue as the omi's slime body when the omni has the cloak and could just look like the last image in the game's model if it makes it easier for you. Again its a free idea, if you want to use it ok, if not that's ok too.

It's more fun if he is kept ambiguous, you know like overlord, the next Omni clone will be less obscure looking, however.

say the so called clone does it's job and defeats all possible opponents to rule the world. what happens then, does a styxx moment happen and the original omni lord and clone fight, or does the clone work like a hive mind and the omni lord will just absorb it back into it's self?
