Every game here that is not officially declared to be completed and doesn't receive updates for a certain periods of time(I forgot exact time limit) gets marked as abandoned
I know how you feel about it... But 'On Edge', it's been 4 years man. If the problem was only the original artist the guy could've made a total remake with another one and kept on developing even further. It's abandoned.
Believe me I felt on my skin those 4 years, comming to check this page from time to time until I gave up

I used to go back and forth with the dev of this game about ideas back in the early days in 2020/2021 (crazy that it's been that long). He's a passionate guy but it seemed at the time like he might have gotten in a bit over his head coding-wise with how to actually implement his ideas, and frequently had to rewrite entire sections of the game to accommodate them.

It came from a place of legitimate passion and you can tell even from this version that he had some really creative ideas, but I'm not surprised to see that he's put it on the indefinite backburner. (Though I am disappointed. It was one of my favourites and I enjoyed being able to chat with him about the game and where he wanted to take it.)

Hopefully he plans to return to it one day when he has more experience under his belt.

I don't think this is even that hard a game model to replicate. The downside is it requires art, and I'm not able to really draw characters. Otherwise I'd make my own at this point.
Honestly, I would be down for drawing a character but, it's more of a mindset I have lol. I'm very uh.. more of a keeping things private to myself as I'm not really open to release those art to the public due to uh.. fear of releasing thing publicly xD.

Plus AI tends to have worse consistent plus money to spend like 50 images just for one proper scene with consistent as possible. I tested out AI Art myself mainly just to mess with it and create a story out of it for fun lol. so yeah.. it's not ideal to use AI generator for game unless no one cares about the lack of consistent, considering there's a couple of AI games out there with less consistency. (Sry for a lot of words here lol)
