Honestly I like the new hair better I hated the old hair lol , so everything about the new Elizabeth is an upgrade for me
Weirdly, I think the soccer mom hairdo kind of suits her, especially when she has those glasses on.

I liked how she looked in this episode for the most part. It's just that hair asset looked wrong on her, imo.

Well, due to weird coincidence (I hope) there is another game that got an update recently and another Elizabeth who got her look entirely changed. What's with Devs changing looks for Elizabeths, hmm?

Anyways, changes in this game are nowhere near as bad but still - I liked old Beth much much more, she had her charm unlike this one.
New Beth is just:

are you supposed to get less lewd zoe content going with beth content in the prologue instead of hanging out with jacob/melissa/ashley?

Before the party in the prologue when she says they should stop kissing unless it's "as friends" because she's moving, you need to respect her wishes. If you tell her "I don't think that's for me", it ends her romantic route.
Very weird. I did exactly what you said and clicked on "as friends" but many episodes later I did not get one of the sex scenes with Vania in the latest update.:( Is there any junction in the Vania path where I took the wrong track??

Hmm, this is a path where will be no sex at all
The person above got it wrong. At the party, you should pick the "just friends" option with Vania. Later, when you're at Vania's house and end up sleeping together, choose the "I like u" option. On the bench, go for the "something more" option. That way, you'll get on Vania's route

Fired this one up for the first time today. So far it's going well.

I have one possible pathing/continuity issue early on with Vania:
  • When MC sits with her on the bed, you have a choice to kiss her or not. If you do, you get +1 "vrel" point. (1/2 possible VREL points)
  • Later, when Vania is getting ready for the shower, and on the phone with Zoe, if MC did not kiss Zoe, you also get a "vrel +=1". (1/2 possible vrel points)
  • Later in the same shower scene, the game does a "if vrel >=1" check, which if true the game/story assumes you kissed Vania. This is inconsistent for one specific path.
    • If you kiss Vania, and did not kiss Zoe, you have 2 "vrel" points. This passes the check correctly.
    • If you kiss Vania, and did kiss Zoe, you have 1 "vrel" point. This passes the check correctly.
    • If you do not kiss Vania AND did not kiss Zoe, you still get 1 "vrel" point because MC did not kiss Zoe. This passes the >=1 check, but should NOT.
If you want to track specific or important events, I'd personally suggest using a specific variable. You can assign, for example, both "vrel +=1 AND ch1_vania_kiss = True" if they kissed; and "ch1_vania_kiss = False" if they don't. Then on the shower scene you do a simple "if ch1_vania_kiss then: xxxxx". I'm not sure if you forgot that an second Vania point was obtainable if you didn't kiss her, or if the IF is supposed to happen before the second "vrel" point was supposed to be obtainable.

I hope that all made sense?

I have an important question. Why would anyone not want to kiss the goddess Vania?:love:

Oh don't worry, she's currently my personal favorite LI right now. The way the relationship shifts over the first two chapters, alongside her initial non-interest in a relationship. And wow, she can tease with the best of them! I did find there were a couple of times if you weren't careful you'd easily miss a needed choice to flip a variable... which would put her on the friend route. I'm not a huge fan of multiple easy to miss decisions.

It's certainly not a game breaking bug by any means, but confused me when I saw her remembering kissing MC when I knew I had not done it. I ended up loading older saves and trying it again, and then again. Then I was curious if I missed a flashback or something that happened outside my portion of the story. That was when I took a closer look at URM and ended up looking at the code.

It can be hard to test/account for all possibilities, especially if a newer dev, and I often like to try out weird and wonderful combinations just to see what happens. ;)

There were a couple of other scenes where relationship points were checked, but none cause the LIs to have a different memory than I did.

I can't remember the variables, but I happened to get on Vania path the first time (more by luck than anything I think), and I do remember having to work out how I had done it, to help a couple of people that had missed getting on it. (y)

Yeah, and one variable name didn't help at first either. Based on what I saw in the prologue code (script.rpy), it looks like:
  • pro_van_kisskit: This happens at the Kitchen scene where Vania has told the MC she's leaving, and MC can apologize for the way he treated her at a pre-game party seen in flashback. If you have 'vrel' >=2 an option to tell her to "Wait" is selectable. Choose Wait to get this variable set.
  • pro_vfriendrel: IF you have the above variable set to True, then you are halfway there. Later at Zoe's party when Vania is holding Ruby's guitar and talking to MC, you HAVE to choose "Just Friends" to get this set. She'll end the "Just Friends" choice by saying that they can be FWB.
The first time I saw 'pro_vfriendrel' I assumed, based on the name, it meant you'd be on the "friend" path as it's right in the variable name. That is not true, for whatever reason that's the LI path with her. o_O
