First thing I notice is that the three volume bars start at 100% (which most devs overlook but its still annoying), but worse is that the menu music is keyed to the Sound Volume bar not the Music Volume bar.
...and if the dev is sensitive enough about playing with music or not that there is a
guilt trip about it at the start of the game, then maybe put them on the right channels and not start the game by blasting the volume at max and making us turn it off immediately.
(Sorry, I'm grumpy in the morning and react poorly to cheap attempts at emotional manipulation.)
Err, and in that same light, making it so that choosing to not take a step with someone causes you to lose relationship points is more manipulation. It would be almost ok if you were refusing someone's advances (but still manipulative), but it is completely inappropriate to lose points if you just choose inaction over taking initiative. And I find that odd because there were previously choices involving Angie's mental health that were either negative vs. zero, or positive vs. zero. So why is the kiss choice with Becky weighted in both directions? Why would she like me less if I remained professional after Angie "accidentally" bumps me into her?
I think the MC looks older than the stated age of 58, the white hair is the problem. Not saying that some people don't get it early (many women of Irish descent start turning silver in their 30s) but on average most people aren't totally grey until their 70s. Easy solution though, send him to the local barber to get some coloring done, leave some grey highlights so he still looks "distinguished".
