I checked all the other interactions after the Becky kissing incident, and seems that none of the other LI interactions had a punishment score if you didn't take the choice in their favor. So at least thats good. But I still think that the whole interaction with Becky is not anchored in reality.
I went through the two interactions with Becky again and this time I didn't choose to loosen the dress code, and there was no punishment score for not kissing her this time. So I guess that means she took the loosening of the dress code as a come-on, and then not kissing her makes you lose the point you gained for loosening it in the first place and also cancels the dress code change. So I guess if you're not interested in her then just don't be friendly at all?
But the main issue with the whole scenario is that this is a Gen-X guy who spent 30 years working a corporate job. There is no way that the thought would even occur to him to try to kiss this co-worker on the 2nd day of knowing her on his first official day of work as her supervisor. I mean really. Just listen to his trauma dump to the blue haired woman at the gym later on, its been 11 years. Its gonna take more than a stumble into someone to even start the processes required to do such a thing. Plus the path for that LI gets shut down right then too? She seems nice but we don't know her well enough to make that decision this early in the game!
After leaving there, especially after that scene in the gym, Angie needs a gentle conversation about boundaries and appropriateness. He's about to be a college professor and she's been talking about setting him up with his students as well, that has to be nipped in the bud before she gets him fired.
