they are GOING TO LIVE FOREVER FOR THEIR CHILD!
I don't think the MC will be sensitive to that delusion. He had to bury his own son; mortality has to be on his mind.

Maybe have a watch at that Old Man Wolverine movie or a number of old man Liam Neeson or Old Man Clint Eastwood movies where they do exactly that: take up very young clueless kids and act like real life superheroes to them the whole time.
When it comes to the students, I'd like my MC to set boundaries and take up the role of a mentor who leads by example. I'm totally fine with other people playing differently, but since the choices are there, that's how I'd like to play.
My only issue, really, is that I can't set these boundaries soon enough. The MC is old enough to have a handle on his moral compass. When he visits Brooklyn at her dorm, he even remarks about it being inappropriate. Personally, I don't want my MC to even put himself in that situation in the first place.

I realize this is entirely subjective, but I don't like the part where the grandpa flirts with 20-somethings he teaches. I'm not near his age, but already at a point I can't see myself spending any kind of quality time with women that young, let alone feeling confident I can productively help them with whatever issues they're facing.
My same concert with this, overall, great game.

And why all this young women go insane at first sight with this remarkable, decent, honest, but still way too elderly, gentleman? It could make sense after getting to know him well, and it would still be a far stretch.

But i'm ready to go all the way into suspension of disbelief in this case. The game needs to concile the will to tell the story of an elderly single man who faces suddenly paternity with a very difficult and yet so deserving young girl, and the media of being a porn game where hot young asses get banged.

I'm positive the dev, or i would say the author, in this case, will tell e sensitive, moving story even with those premises.

Yeah. And, honestly, you'd have to wonder why they're drawn to him. Every relationship is a kind of balancing act between what you're willing to give and want to receive. So I have to wonder what makes the MC so attractive that LIs overlook his age.
Personally, I think the setting would've made more sense if the MC was Angie's uncle. He'd be ~23 years younger, which is huge.

I'm with you. While I'll keep a distance in my canon playthrough, I will eventually explore all paths and scenes. I'm also considering (conjecture) that there's a supernatural element at play and that the bear haunting Angie might not be entirely imagined.
I also wonder how the author will avoid the "magical healing dick" trope. As it is, these young women are so vulnerable that I'd feel very conflicted about taking things further. At the same time, it's unrealistic to expect that these women's issues will be resolved before the MC becomes intimate with them.
It's going to be interesting... Though the MC does seem to be in possession of a magical dick, so who knows?

Eh! Might be. I hope not, because i think it would be too much, since there is already a strong psychological element in the story to have a supernatural element too, and if the girl's condition would end up to be 'magical', that could discredit the story strongly.
Yet the other work from the same author was all supernatural...
We'll see.

That's honestly the only reason why I thought it was worth mentioning. There are also the MC's remarks about meeting so many people with issues, which I interpret as foreshadowing. Though, this could also be the narrative trick of pointing out the obvious to make it more believable.

That said, I think you're right. It would either be too much or risk making light of actual psychological issues. Though, from a narrative perspective, I could see a curse working if it exacerbates the psychological issues that are already there. In that case, lifting the curse would make the issues more bearable without outright curing everyone.

If the story is going to stay in the real world, i don't think the granddaughter (sorry i don't remember the name) can be cured. It's implied that her condition is extremely bad.
IMHO the story could go toward finding a frail but important balance in her life or toward a dramatic ending for her and a bitter moving foreward for the other characters.
And here too, we will see :)

Yeah... I'm hoping the medication has the desired effect and she'll find balance. If she doesn't, I can't imagine her surviving her Papa for long, without anyone to care for.
The talk in the car was heartbreaking, about her wanting the MC to find someone who takes care of him because she'll leave eventually. One more reason why I'm hesitant to get really close to any LI. Though I suspect the dev will force this situation if he wants it to happen.

As you say, we will see.
