I just started it. Is it gonna be a bad surprise?

My main issue is that they set up a huge emotional conflict and then completely gave up on it with the ending. There was no conclusion of storylines or epilogues at all. He killed the entire story in the space of like two paragraphs.

No epiloges? That's honestly bad. Let's hope with this new project the dev skills matured.

Dev tends to really work the mental angle. This one is interesting, just doesn't hold my attention. I am more looking forward to his/her other AVNLove and Jealousy. It is more appealing.

Yeah, his first was a total mess really from start to finish.

I tried this and it was....ok...at best. I removed it from my watch list but after playing L&J it is obvious the guy can actually write, so will give this another chance for a couple more updates and see where it goes.

I actually liked the beginning of the first then that train went off the tracks never saw the end. This one not much into kids being leads in AVNs.

On Distant Shores is one of my favorite all-time VNs. I really do not understand the hate for it. If you are taking the role of the MC, how it ended was totally appropriate. If you have not played it, do so. Ignore the haters and go with the dev's concept. It might blow your mind as it did mine.

It was very good until that part and to me, ruined it all. To the point which I'm not sure if I want to even bother with this new project here in case history repeats itself...as it often does.

I liked the marionette song. I skipped the other songs. It gets a little tiring having so many characters with mental issues (or dealing with abuse). Angie's story is cool. I like the other stories, too, but it gets a little hard trying to care about everyone, so I've stopped. I'll try to help Angie, for sure, and a few of the others. Some are going to need to find other friends. Maybe that was the dev's intention from the get go. Help who you want to help, and worry about others on subsequent playthroughs, if you have the completionist kind of mindset.
