Player.INST._money +=XXXX is the correct command if you don't want to introduce errors. If you use Player.money it will look like it worked but it will start throwing errors every time the game tries to add money.

Guess that should mean the porters have more time to fix the Chapter 2 Android ports issues - the missing reward scene for finishing Jasmine's Patreon questline and the crashing to home screen during the brothel orgy.
