Absolutely incredible. This game is the standard for what any V/N using honey select models should strive for. There is a reason why this game is one of the highest rated games on this site. For me, this is the perfect mixture of humor, storytelling and of course, smut.

Holy shit this game is a damn masterpiece in every way! This is my new favorite game hands down! This game has achieved a perfect balance of humor, horror, and great story telling all rolled into one. I was laughing so hard at times my eyes almost started watering. I'm not going to spoil anything for you but i'll just leave this name here for when you finish the game "Stabby Mike".

This game will have you absolutely hooked! I had to force myself to go to sleep because I was playing the game for so long it was literally 4 AM, and the sun was coming up. This is in my opinion one of the best games I have played on this site. You can tell the DEV really put his heart and soul into this game and it shows in the humor. I know you're a fellow weeb as well DEV with all the anime, and cult classic sci-fi movie references. Appreciate it.


Each of the characters have unique personalities that you can see develop throughout the duration of the game the graphics and settings of the story is immersive and will really get you hooked as if you're right there with the characters. The humor flows almost naturally and is done so well it doesn't come off as forced or done too much.

I could write a 5 page paper on all the things this game gets right I have never played a game that deserved five stars so much until now. I couldn't find anything negative that detracted from the game. There's no pointless filler talk or unnecessary side character introduction everything flows smoothly as if you're watching an addictive tv show you just can't stop watching.

I recommend this game with all of my being and if you happen to finish the game please review it so more people can discover this masterpiece. I saw this on the top rated area but never gave it a chance but i'm so glad I did. 5/5 stars DEV I look forward to playing any future games you play. IDK really why people giving it high score

the game looks good in deapth
but the graphic or female characters looks so dull .. which turns me off again and again

the game is excellent the story looked like anime plot, not that am complaining, but what did this game top tier for me were the characters and the comedy, and my god i laughed my ass off. So in conclusion it could have been bigger and longer but that would probably killed it or make it worse so its better this way very good game .

This game was just a fun experience honestly. the girls were great and the scenes didn't fall short whatsoever. The story wasn't a masterpiece but it was damn enjoyable for what it was. the humor was there for when it needed to be and for me didn't overstay its welcome too often. All in all this game really deserves the praises it gets and is a great game to just relax and enjoy.

The character designs of the ladies are excellent, especially the sisters. The story felt pretty meh at first but the humour and personalities/looks of the different girls won me over and around 50% in I was totally invested and actually wanted to see the end (which basically is a first for me).

All the main relationships had great build-up but for some it might take a bit too long time for the first sex-scenes to get going. For me it was totally worth it.

The storyline is ridiculous, but in the way a great B-movie is ridiculous. You (hopefully) aren't supposed to take it seriously and letting go of your pretensions makes it a hell of a lot of fun. The characters are different enough personality-wise, but I'm knocking a star off for their sameness physically. The women are all built the same and a few of the male characters look so much alike that I had trouble telling them apart.

Worth playing.

Not a particularly unusual story (step-siblings, harem, evil supernatural conspiracy etc), but it has a well-constructed narrative which manages to remain internally coherent, more or less.

Graphics are a bit simplistic (not sure of the graphics engine used to generate them), and I was expecting to dislike them, but the author manages to work within their limitations to extract a fair bit of humour and sufficient differentiation between characters to give them some personality.

On the basis of this I will try the author's new game. Well done.

Once in a Lifetime was initially a game I wasn't going to play, but I am glad I decided to give it a chance.
It's well written, with a sense of humour and fun that doesn't subtract from the overall plot but enhances it. Which will have you invested in the plot over the "plot" near the end.

H-scenes
Overall the animations and statics are exceedingly well done. The "worst" complaint you will find is the occasional minor clipping here and there.
Mostly vanilla in terms of kink variety, but enjoyable nonetheless

One of the most memorable games on here. I'm not into Honey Select graphics, but the story and especially the humor elevate it to something special. The jokes and expressions are so well delivered.

The characters are another strong point. Their personalities are varied giving them a distinct identity, and they're also easy to sympathize with because of relatable motivations and responses.

The sex scenes were okayish. To proceed some H-scenes you'll have to click a "Faster" button and that's not the most immersive, so there's room for improvement.


Definitely a recommendation for just about anyone. Good characters, story and humor - you won't be disappointed.

I started playing on a recommendation, did not expect to play the whole game in one sitting, but I could not walk away!!! Great story, beautiful imagery, plenty of sexy girls, and animations. My only knock is the opportunity for more pregnancy content was soo close, but not fully taken advantage of, but that is a personal preference. Spectacular game!

Near perfect. Everything works incredibly well. The models are amazing, and the expressions and animations during the h-scenes are just immaculate.

- Graphics: hey did you know that Honey Select games can NOT look like ass? I certainly didn't till I played this game. The girls are nice and the h-scenes are legit hot. There are certain downsides however: the background looks trash; the male characters are samey and have terrible hair.
- Writing: oh man, this game. It's hilarious. There are plenty of games around here that went for the humorous route and either a) fell flat, or b) lack any substance outside of humor. But not this one. There's a nice mystery plot to follow along, a nice twist (albeit a bit predictable), and some pretty scary moment. Imagine that. a game with just still images (h-scenes are animated of course) managed to scare me a couple of times (there are jump scares but it's not just that; the atmosphere in some scenes are legit chilling, nice homage to classic horror games).
- Content: this is kind of an extension to the previous point. If you have been around this site, you know there are plenty of games that had great potential but were either abandoned or rushed. Not this game. This one is complete, finished, on a high note at that. Part of this is probably because there's no real branching in this game (there are plenty of choices yes, but really there's only one real ending).
- Music: most of the time I don't bother mention this because many games have generic soundtrack just for the sake of having soundtrack. This one certainly had its share of generic tracks, but it also managed to drop some pretty memorable/funny scenes with its music.

All in all great game, deserving its score on this site. Definitely check it out.

Enjoyable renpy games and the sex scenes are enjoyable. you can see the progress and improvement as you go through the game, but it's solid overall. The story escalates in a fast pasce into a supernatrual territory but it's a good ride nonetheless. There can be a few QOL impovements to the UI or longer sex scenes w more options but it's good as is!

Once in a Lifetime indeed! This game is amazing and has it all: well written, funny, with a compelling plot full of twists and turns, beautiful girls (obviously) and great sex scenes (ditto).
It is more of a VN than a game, although the decisions *will* affect the outcome. For those who prefer to follow the "right path" there is a mod that indicates the best choices for plot progression.
Oh, and I almost forgot: it is actually a completed game, a rare thing to be found around here...

I have played adult games for around 10 years in various forms. Every time I've downloaded a story VN I've quit and deleted it after 30 - 60 minutes. They simply aren't good. Non-participatory porn is best in movie format and non-participatory love is best in book format . There is simply no point in creating a game that tries to emulate those two in an inferior medium. Or so I thought...

Over the years I have tried about 50 story VNs or so, and not a single one interested me. Until I downloaded Eternum by accident (I thought it was something else). Due to the great introduction I kept punching away at the spacebar even after realizing that there would be no sandbox mechanics included. I got hooked within 20 minutes and I played that all the way through in one go. When that ran out, I eventually downloaded Once in a Lifetime. That was yesterday. I spent the entire night playing it through in one sitting, ignoring everything except the mouse in my one hand and, well, you know.

So what is there to say about the game?
The comedy is fantastic and I found myself laughing out loud many many times. The relations feel organic in all the cases that matter (all the younger girls minus Aiko), and the pacing is perfect. After spending an entire night playing through the game I am considering starting it up and reading it through again for one simple reason: the game really, really, REALLY, manages to create a sensation of slowly growing feelings between the characters, and that quality far outshines any problems you might have with graphics, animation, interactivity, or being able to figure out who's who when looking at the path menu.

Don't get me wrong, it's not without faults. The graphics (girls) can definitely look less generic (most of them I can only tell apart by their hair color), the adult animations are far from the best, and the introductory phase (approx. first 20 min) needs more relief for all that exposition, but damn is the story good (structure, pacing, escalation, relief, twists and surprises, girls, fetishes, romance, the whole damn deal). After you get into the story, you simply stop caring about the details.

There is one thing that really made it stick with me. The culminating scene towards the end with Lauren and Judy really is perfect, it actually made me feel the love and emotional connection between the characters, and that's pretty damn rare. The music, the scenery, the placements, the buildup - it's extraordinary. The entire game progressed flawlessly towards that scene, and it really shows.

This is the first story VN, out of around 50, that I have actually wanted to finish (and wish there was more of), and I cannot recommend it enough.

Game was amazing
The story was engaging and the character developments were nicely done, It is a Visual novel so no sand box or exploration but the plot of the story was delivered nicely and while some choices not as meaningful to the overall story or plot some can affect a huge part of the game.

Pls.. try the game and support the creator so that we can continue to have high quality adult games.
