So this game is insane good- I just downloaded it and holy hell- but I have a few questions
Audrey: The in game walkthrough had corruption points for her for a while- and then suddenly it went straight to Love points and no more corruption options? does this then mean the corruption path has been reworked or removed?
Barb: Same general inquiry with Barb the in game walkthrough had a Dom +Barb points option but then suddenly it just went to a +Barb option similarly does this mean the Dom path for barb has been removed?
also with Barb we have the scene with Audrey at the beach after her breakfast and the MC says " well i gotta go cuz i wanna tell Lydia about Barbs situation and it's better to hear it from me and whatever" and then the very next scene is a meeting with Rick- Maybe you got too busy with other projects or life or whatever because you alluded to the fact the MC told Lydia off screen because the Sam scene mentioned "I assume Lydia told you about Barb" but wouldn't it make sense to build a scene for the MC telling Lydia about Barb? even if it was a quick scene. seems kind of cheap to let that sort of thing happen off screen because Barb is sort of a main character- and it sort of cheapens the flow of the story a bit when you mention the MC is gonna go tell Lydia something which is emotionally impactful and then we are like "oh man ok lets prepare ourselves" only to then see Rick in his chair at the meeting..
it's like "oh wait what the hell??"
Just my two cents on it
And I have another question regarding Lydia continuing to smoke- Since the entire game has told us that in order to remain sober we cannot have any sort of thing that is mind altering- or else it will lead you to become not sober- is the fact that smoking cigarettes not technically mind altering the only reason it is still in the game? The fact that cigs are addictive would lead me to think they would have the same end result as any other addiction based substance to an addict leading them back to being not sober? This has been bugging me so please let me know
Not everything that's told is going to appear on screen, and you're right Sam says at the meeting Lydia has told her about what happened with Barb which implies you told Lydia before the meeting, I already had enough conversations telling people what happened to Barb, didn't think that one needed to be shown, as to avoid things becoming redundant. Plus Lydia will discuss how she feels about it more in the next update, also she tells you later "I was considering ditching work to come with you to see Barb" (Or something close to that). So, no it didn't make sense to me, and I didn't feel the way you did at all with that scene transition.
Fifty percent of people I know in recovery including myself either vape or smoke, and it's not exactly a mood or mind altering substance. Because, it doesn't rob you of your faculties. If we're gonna talk about that, then every addict should be on strict diets and not drink any caffeine either. But there's coffee at every meeting and cookies at every meeting. Why, because they don't make you go rob from people and steal their cars. By that rationale everyone who drinks caffeine, or eats food that contains it is an addict. I personally don't believe that and will go down that rabbit hole no further.
Your other questions have already been answered more than one time in the thread, so look back through if you'd like. I even explain the Audrey stuff in the PDF, so you can look there as well.
With the Barb Sub/Dom Stuff, did you consider the fact I think I've already given you enough points to know how you feel about that when the time comes?
Also, did you see that along with every sub/dom choice there was a regular Barb+ as well? (At least with the vast majority anyway)
I know I said look back through the thread, but that will be a choice you have based on how many of those points you have at the time and it will be optional. So say you have more Sub than Dom, you will have a choice of just a regular scene with her, or a light femdom scene, if more Dom, you'll have the choice the other way around with optional Dom or the regular scene.
