I really enjoyed the game, I just wanted more scenes with her sister and maybe a threesome.
Anyway, the art is wonderful and the game is amazing.

I actually found a second bug, and a pretty funny one. This one doesn't throw an exception and was on 1.0.1.

If you are fighting Kitsune in the Battle Replay mode while you have Kitsune equipped as a support, it will make her disappear. I didn't test it, but maybe also affects if you rematch with her by exploration rematch then. Might also affect other combats where you can do the same?

Also, not a bug but a feature request. Could you put all of the Tsubaki pillow talk scenes into the gallery? I think they're all quite delightful and I was curious about some of the dialogue options and her response to them, but don't really want to play through the whole game a bunch of times or save scum for them.

TwistedScarlett60 I just began, and I really like the overall idea of this game. I just have one suggestion. Polishment. The dialog options are very default Ren'Py. Having a custom UI improves the experience a lot and is something you already did for the leveling system, so if you could draw better boxes for the dialog options, and giving them a more cinematic entrance than fade (fade slide with SE, perhaps), and giving an overall pro look (perhaps making the options in your room become highlighted parts of the room, like the door for leaving to the city, or the desk for the leveling-up system, Tatsumaki herself for interactions with her, you already do that in main city map), that would really improve the experience.

When you post it on Steam, I'll buy it.

Hello, TwistedScarlett60. Wonderful game. I am working on a 'perfect' playthrough/walkthrough, because of my spreadsheet autism. I noticed that the Esper ability Focus counts double for the Wits tree bonuses. Is that intended or is it a bug?

Edit: I tested the skill trees and Focus is the only one that provides twice the Investment value of its cost in Mag.

anyone else run into the lucky coins bug? I lost to the kitsune in the city ruins, she gave me a coin, and my game crashed. error says "luckycoins" isn't defined.

edit: I actually read the forum and I'm not alone. Sorry for the repeat report

I get that it feels bad to miss content, but calling it retarded design is extreme. The game is built around choices having consequences. Sometimes you gain something, sometimes you lose something, and that is part of what makes each playthrough feel distinct.

Taking the Wisdom option is a valid path that leads to a different outcome. Not every route will unlock every piece of content, and that is intentional. It is not as if you are permanently screwed for the entire run. You simply took an option that closes one door while opening others. The fact that you can miss things is not a flaw in the design, it is one of the core features of the game.

Many of the best RPGs follow this philosophy. Fallout New Vegas, Baldur's Gate 3, Fear and Hunger, and Look Outside all commit to meaningful player agency. Your choices can produce unexpected, sometimes irreversible consequences, and that is what gives those worlds weight and personality. This game follows the same idea. It rewards exploration and enables unique playthroughs instead of handing out every piece of content in a single path.

If you think you can give a counter argument, I'd be happy to hear it.

I suppose, though so far it feels like it's mostly just good vs bad ending. Getting +1 wis in exchange for locking a char out of friendly feels really bad. Doesn't feel like they're equivalent. If I wasn't deep enough I'd go back to redo it (still might). Haven't had any other situations like this happen yet (thankfully). Being locked out of something because you had to make a completely uninformed decision doesn't give the world any personality or make it feel alive either (at least to me). The dialogue differences kinda do but not the lockout. Even the context doesn't help, wis choice is to not fuck with a flower at the time, there's no good reason why you'd think you can't come back later as opposed to say executing monsters, that implies finality. It could just lead to a much harder fight later if you chose wis, that'd be much more reeasonable imo.

So yea retarded is probably a bit harsh but that specific route does not feel good and I wouldn't call it good design either.

Good game (so far) otherwise tho btw, one of the best porn ones I played

I think Hero reputation VS Monster reputation could use a bit more time on the drawing board, though I don't know how I'd change them. Hero reputation seems to give too low of a benefit (a bit more money per week, if I recall?) VS more effective Monster helpers, monster rep seems to be the clear winner. In fact, money in general doesn't seem all that useful, the big chunk you get early on and the sums you get during the story are enough to buy anything you need, making the weekly paychecks rather irrelevant.

While I'm at it, I remember a bug I found. I was fighting Mortivra in the simulation but noticed I had no chance and ran away to grind some more, and the monster I fought summoned Moritvira's zombie horde, the 5kHP one. Needless to say I had to run away from that aswell.

Don't worry, you are NOT locked out of Alraune's later events. If that was the case, it would have been somewhat bad design, yeah.
Wait so what does it lock you out of? I thought both of the remaining options lead to her dying so I chose to fight rather than betray Tatsumaki.

Edit: She just shows up later and you get her monster support too...?
