How do I plant seeds? I select to plant them from the inventory, aim at the ground where it becomes green, and no matter where I aim or what I press, they don't get planted. And if I try to do this again, the previous unplanted seed stays at the ground.
Edit:
Ohkay I had to equip the seeds and just use them from hotbar. But along with being planted they also give food and water +1

cheat engine memory editing. but NEVER, EVER freeze values or you may crash when the values in questions shift and the data you froze becomes invalid.
The character creator having it's hair options be a slider instead of clicking through options and a camera that constantly cycles through odd view points rather than letting you examine your character model are design decisions that don't exactly fill me with confidence lol
Gave it a trial and yeah it seems like it needs more time. I did my best to follow instructions, but watering the pepper doesn't seem to do anything so unless that's the end of the tutorial I feel like I missed something somehow. Ran around for a bit trying to trigger scenes, but I'm guessing it's tied to the quests I have no idea on how to complete. Sadly, the farm lacks harvestable versions of the items requested by either parent, and with me unable to seemingly progress the tutorial I'm not sure it's worth it for me to trial and error my way into growing the plants.
Unskippable AI voices also make it a pain to sit through again, especially when it focuses on explaining to the MC in very many words that plants need water and nutrients instead of a game mechanics explanation. For example watering the plants didn't do anything unless I pressed e, but I had to be careful not to hold e as that would remove the plant entirely. Wish I could hit a button to move to the next line when I'm done reading.
