Who equate BDSM and Dom/sub with abuse.

99% of this is flat out abuse. It's not a Dom/sub dynamic; it's cheating, abuse, and neglect.

Now excuse me while I go throw up.. which sucks because it's freaking awesome otherwise. Like super super good. Would recommend it even if I think it's abuse, that good.

Now back to my search for a decent story in the one place story comes last; erotica.

I never claimed this was a full on BDSM game. Yes, there’s abuse, and yes, it’s brutal. I understand why it carries the BDSM tag because elements of BDSM are in the game. The game itself isn’t built around a healthy Dom/sub dynamic. It’s about trauma and the darker sides of control and submission.

If you read the line “As she spirals deeper into submission, her emotional state fractures, creating an alter ego that helps her survive the mental and (physical abuse)” that pretty much says it all. This isn’t a love story it’s about unhealthy relationships, the kind that sadly happen in real life. The characters might look cute, but that’s intentional. I want players to feel conflicted and uncomfortable, to care about them even when things get dark.

I know the main character is a bad person he admits it himself from the moment Oridelle enters his home. My game isn’t "perfect" and probably never will be, but it’s mine, and it tells the story I wanted to tell.

I do appreciate that you still found parts of it good, even if you didn’t like the tone. I just wish people talked as much about what they do enjoy over what they don’t like. I understand, it’s just human nature people usually find it easier to point out what bothers them than to express what they enjoy. The game will always be messed up that’s the point. Life can be sad and ugly sometimes, and this story leans into that. There are always two sides to life even when you don’t want to face the darker one.

Thanks I know I'm not perfect at making this game crazy enough I'm actually pretty dyslexic and was not very good at English in school. I know what you might say they why make a novel well I want to make a game so I'm going to do it ai helps I know it's not always good and sometimes feels off but it helps me. I am a native English speaker just dyslexic if someone puts this against me I never claim the game don't use ai I do write out plot points and try to think of ways to navigate around them. I really love working on the scenes the most and making it flow as good with out text as I don't see other games do it like I do. Still not perfect far from it.

The game is not for the fant of hearts but there is still love into the game as well to contrast it my feel weird and off at times but toxic relationships are like that if you don't think so then you never actually been in one. The game’s pretty linear right now maybe down the line I’ll make choices have more weight to them, but at the moment, there’s not a lot of branching. There are some small variations, but nothing like full on different routes yet. The game’s dark at its core, and I don’t think I ever want to lose that.

So the mc can't choose to change to be a good guy to the girl like redemption and will always will abuse her?

Hey man, just want to say, you have a really fresh take on a story here and youll probably get a lot of pushback coming your way for how you handle certain elements with MC and the LIs but i want you to know that you are cooking here, especially with the whole fight club dynamic with Oridelle, and it gives more complexity to the character itself than just LI robot that exist to be MCs plaything. I do wish you had the MC have more substance to him, he kinda just feels one dimensional? I mean i guess it just started and you have probably a lot more story to tell, but i do hope their some sort of character development especially if you plan for this game to be less branching narratives and more kinetic in nature. But yeah man, you have a solid project here, it gives Pale Carnations vibes

He’s a big part of it and the main character, sure, but it’s also Oridelle’s story, and hers is the one I find more interesting to tell.

The MC has his moments he’s the one that keeps things moving and makes stuff happen but for me, the girls are where the real depth and focus come in. That’s what I enjoy exploring more.

Yeah i appreciate the game for what is, Pale Carnations is a different plot all together, i just mean the dark the undertone of this game reminds me of Pale Carnations, both games dive into rather complex topics. I do wonder though that if its more of Oridelles story you are interested in telling perhaps a better tag and focus would be Multiple Protagonist with Oridelle serving as the secondary or even primary? It seems its going that way anyways. Either way just my opinion, but i do look forward to see what you end up doing with it in the future. Totes recommend PC if you havent played it already also not for the faint of heart.

At times I did not understand the alternate version of Oridelle, honestly I still don't and skipped through the scenes that involve her with herself because they just do not make any sense, but it's still quite the peculiar concept and I applaud the developer again for going for it...

Thanks, I’m really trying not to skimp on my vision. The alter ego represents both trauma and sexual fantasy it’s meant to show how those two can blur together. And about the Patreon stuff yeah, I get it, people complain about “bait,” but I’m just being honest. I want to do this more, and the support helps me keep going. I’d love to make this a full-time thing someday. I know my game isn’t perfect, but I genuinely love making it.

I'll try to keep the drama coming. I hate when game play it to safe like come on mix it up a bit. This is going to be a bit ranty like I love games like Sweet Affection a dev calls it a love or romantic game witch yea but that game is 100% a corruption game yes there is romance but you turn up the heat every night you want to have sex with your family like come on how is there no corruption in your games tags? Don't get me wrong love the game just want more action I know what I want and I know that dev not going to go in the direction I would want for the game they have there audience. And sfx go a long way for me and not having it in that game feel bad. Also there sex scenes are in one video you have to wait for with no in the dialogue. Like I said I do love that game tho. I was going to have a sandbox in my game after the first night but people did not like the idea and it was not polished, I really just wanted to get the game out to see if anyone would even like my game after working on it for 6 months for 0.1 witch is the first day.

The alter egos might not make sense in a realistic story; but they make psychological sense.

There are fantastical elements in this game, including the coffin.

And of course . . . reality sometimes doesn't make sense either; so a "realistic" story that has no nonsense in it isn't always a good match of the reality as we experience it.

You are absolutely correct that this is one of, or perhaps the most, original game on this site.
