Have you considered the possibility that the MC's motivation could do with some punch up/editing to make it more believable? There's lots of times a character in a story does something and the audience thinks it's not warranted or the wrong choice.Yet, the MC isn't offended by her actions in the slightest. He's aware of Parker's sexual lifestyle and respects it. So there's really no problem. She meant no offense and he took no offense.
She's a cougar. She's into young men and MC is into cougars. That's literally what that scene was meant to portray.
If that's what the scene was meant to portray, 95% of us don't care if it is in a scene that isn't a birthday party. People aren't bitching about the guys brought home after a night out (at least not as many). It is specifically stepping out at a special event.
At this point I hope that she's an anti-hero/villain so we can still like the character, and question certain actions. Because she's fun as hell as a character. But that particular action was suspect. Like when she aggressively debriefed (espionage, not pants) MC over what he'd seen at the superhero base. I assume she's been secretive about MCs parents, and we'll find out later what she's been holding back.
There's a reason in my playthrough I didn't lose MCs virginity to Moonsong, because that would have been shitty of him too. There's a time and a place to indulge lust, and if you don't control yourself, it's going to be problematic. But if your timing is better the seas will be much calmer.
