I agree it doesn't fall under that category because she's not in a relationship with the MC.

It ruins her character for some though and comes across as gross.

1) Cheap fling with a random waiter old enough to be her son that she just met.
I expect more from her than a loose promiscuous damaged character like Lake.

2) She is fantasizing about a man that she raised without any build-up or story to justify it.
Creepazoid behavior saying his name while with the waiter simp.

She comes across as a loose old immoral predatory ho.
Some guys may dig it, but judging from the majority reaction, a lot don't.
My issues with it are mostly with the execution. She can be promiscuous and sex-positive, but dipping out on a birthday dinner for a random hookup shows no class.

Being into X character, but not showing the how and why also seems like it doesn't benefit the story. It's implied that she is using surrogates for a desire she feels is too taboo, and that's a pretty interesting premise, it just didn't feel properly positioned in the story and character development to come out a positive, and it seemed like the Dev wanted it to feel like a positive.

On another point while I understand that for some powers/mutations grouping them together and isolating them from the rest of the population can work for some case I found the some to be completely stupid.
In the case of the flyiers it makes no sense, their mere presence doesn't pose a risk to others and given that you can't have all of them constantly being at the same altitude then the risk of accident due to object falling doesn't magically disapear. If you can make regulations that can make a city full of them safe then you can apply those regulation to normal cities. You can make no fly zones, after all thay can still use their leg, a car or hover just above ground.
Such a weird decision could be explained by some nefarious plans, afterall once they've been separated from the others it's easy to control communication and do whatever you want to them.

I think this is precisely the reason for the separation.

I honestly wasn't much into Ruth at first, but she definitely grew on me this update. It must be the hair lol.

Evelyn is #1 for me though. Hot, caring, and devoted childhood friend turned cuckquean girlfriend? Best girl material man. At this point all of the other girls are going to be battling for the #2 spot.
One thing that must be a nightmare for the dev is managing the plot/powers while still giving the player to opt out of certain LIs. That's going to be such a headache going forward, I have no idea how they're planning on addressing it. "uses power to triumph" is a simple story beat, but if there are multiple powers that adds a lot of potential flavour/variety that may require a lot of different scenes to render, or to retroactively have the MC gain certain powers no matter the choices.

My problem with Parker is not that she is promiscuous but that 1st she is sus as hell and 2nd that when celebrating the birthday of somebody so close to her that he is like a son to her she can't dedicate a few hours of one evening to that celebration but decide to have a hookup during that moment.
Setting her character as someone having no respect for anybody and putting her own hedonistic desire above everything else. She is not a promiscuous/slutty/horndog person, she is just a shitty one.
Which is why I think the dev set her as the vilain or at least having her own agenda over the goods of her own family.
Yes, sus as hell. That was a debrief (spy, not sex) to gain intel, he was just unaware.

And two, it could have been any behaviour, not just sex, but wandering off to do shots at the bar, on her phone the entire time, or just talking to a cute older couple for too long, rather than being present for the birthday. It's inconsiderate and rude. But the hooking up isn't the problem, it's her not reading the room, and selfishly prioritising any passing desire of hers above everyone else in her life (or specifically, the MC at his birthday dinner).

But, if she's being built up as a villain, that's pretty good character work. Just don't get upset when we dislike the person with villainous qualities. (I still like Parker, just some issues)

And surrogate mother figure at best. More like a faux aunt/authority figure.

Lake's power could potentially be OP as fuck assuming the only limitation is knowing where an object is. If there is no limit to where she could replicate something or what size the object must be, she could replicate a car on top of some dude's head if she wanted to. Or replicating an entire arsenal of weapons... or replicating a building... etc...

Actually considering the other two "support" supers at the Sisters H.Q., she'd fit right in. They'd have communications, alerts, instant teleportation, and practically unlimited resources assuming Lake is given a warehouse of objects.

Of course she's not gonna be a villain. She no doubt have an agenda of her own but nothing nefarious towards the good guys (and more importantly, the MC)

Govs come up with stupid solutions to real problems all the time. Concentration cities seem like a realistic poor solution to wanting to have specialists control/support a certain population.

Makes me think the not-Mom Parker may be working with a resistance to the neo-fascist government that currently has power, and the Sisterhood is an accomplice to the gov power without really thinking of it too much.

I find it particularly hypocritical the objection to Parker being horny for the waiter and going for it. I BET that if it was the MC spotting a cutie that invited him to a bathroom tryst, regardless of the occasion, not a word would be said against it.

She was wrote as being like that and making no excuses for it. When you write here that "in your opinion" she is this or that, you truly aren't talking about the character, but about yourselves. And not really about your best characteristics. You are "in my opinion" showing that you are quite insecure about sexuality when explored in the feminine.

So, keep making sure that we learn how much of an hypocrite you are.

Peace :(

Nailed nothing.
Never was it implied that the mc or anybody else doing something similar would be considered a good trait of personnality.
It was even detailled that the problem is her ditching somebody celebration to have her own fun. Stop trying to make it about some sex good or sex bad situation. If somebody decide to ditch a birthday at a restaurant to have their own fun, it's natural to assume that either they don't care about the birthday, don't want to be there or are an addict that need to have their fix.
So rather than inventing opinion that never were expressed maybe look at the facts of the story : the author clearly show the memory of a specific event with an importance for the mc and how one character act during what is supposed to be a celebration and spending time together. She chose to have her own fun rather than setting it aside for later, if she went to work people would say she is workaholic, she did it for fun so she appears selfish.

You wrote everything correctly. Based on the complaint of the participants, as I understand it, it is not that the woman has a personal matter like Mc, but that the woman went to satisfy her needs with strangers during the holiday of a loved one. This is exactly what the whole complaint is about, so nothing can be done about it.

Reality, if there was such a situation where it was my son or daughter’s birthday or someone close to my, and we went to celebrate his birthday in a restaurant, I don’t know, would I go fuck a stranger girl in the toilet while my loved ones are celebrating? :ROFLMAO: :BootyTime:
Shit, these debates are really becoming pointless. so people really need to stop whining, like you said, let's just peace, It's strange that people are still complaining about a scene that happened six months ago, which is just a memory. :Kappa:

just give us an update on Parker and we'll arrange her a real f@ck scene:coffee::HideThePain:

If it was a random night out with a group of friends, no shade to Parker or MC/Jack. But if it's an event for someone who is *supposed* to be a closed loved one, ducking out to get a fix, no matter the nature, is rude, inconsiderate, and shows no respect or class. Come back to the restaurant the next night, or leave a phone number to schedule the thing. It's the fucking off in the middle of a night that's supposed to be celebrating someone else that's the sticking point for a lot of people. Having someone that says they care go off and ignore you isn't a good time.

And just reiterating, I like this game, that scene isn't a deal breaker for me, and I look forward to new chapters.

But trying to say it's not some breech of common courtesy or etiquette to turn an event about someone else into an opportunity for personal hedonism (perhaps narcissism) seems to maybe be telling on yourself. Don't wear white to a wedding, or propose or announce big news at one either, don't undercut or steal someone's thunder if it's the rare time they're the focus. Don't fuck a waiter at someone's birthday (unless you barely know the BD person and are just tagging along for whatever reason).

Not if you don't want some backlash or to see you in a negative light. Because that's not about sex, it's about selfishness. Just like how a lot of sex isn't about sex, it's about power.
