it was a really sad scene overall. I really fucking hope MC stops being somewhat of a pussy and fucks those assholes up with his powers. Preferably along with Ruth. Would be a treat.

MC has been coasting and living the good life for several days now. This premonition is an excellent narrative device to get him motivated to start using his powers more and stepping into the "hero" role.

If it was a little thing like detention then sure, i'd sympathise with Marina.

However, Cat is being shipped to the farm so Marina helped to ruin, maybe even end, her life. I can't feel any kind of empathy towards Marina for that.

I'll help her pack.

The premonition ability creates some interesting moral questions. For example, if MC intervenes tomorrow before it even gets to the point of Marina facing that choice, is it really ethical to berate or punish that new "alt universe version" of Marina for something she now technically hasn't done?

Obviously it can still sour someone's perspective on them, but it does make it a much more complex question.

Edit: On an aside, I pretty much guarantee the principal knows what's up and if Marina had tried to stick up for Cat could have found herself on the way to the Farm too. I bet Marina suspected that and realized that trying to help at that point may have been a futile gesture.

Parker is definitely doing things in secret. It remains to be seen what her motives are however.

As for Evelyn's power, she sees the full next day for that person, not just 5 hours. So yes, what MC saw at the end hasn't happened yet and can be changed by intervening.

It is future based but the person you are seeing is seemingly chosen randomly among the people who you touched that day.

No, Evelyn's power is future premonition. It shows the next day for the person being scry'd, meaning that MC has the opportunity to intervene and prevent what he saw from happening.

What Evelyn saw the first time wasn't MC sleeping with Moonsong that first night, but his date with Moonsong and sleeping with her the next day.

It is future based but the person you are seeing is seemingly chosen randomly among the people who you touched that day.

It's random until you learn to control it. Then you can select the person you want to see by focusing on them at the time you touch them.

Parker is my choice for being the one that shows MC that the MTF is corrupt and Moonsong's group is being used.

She's going to be the one that shifts the story from MC wanting all these powers to potentially be a hero, to MC needing all of these powers to stand up to the corrupt corporation.

She saw Moonsong getting his sample, doing the testing, their date in Korea and the sex that followed. That's the day she saw. That's how she knows he manifested after she leaves with either the Evelyn or Moonsong choice.

This is correct, but what Evelyn saw from Moonsong's perspective was the date and sex the following day, not the sex that first night.

If you turn down Moonsong that first night, instead of being angry, Evelyn tells MC via Celeste the next morning that "I hope you enjoy your date with Moonsong. I know I did."

I forget which Chapter (somewhere in 1, 2, or 3), but Evelyn explains that it took her months to learn to control her power, but now she can pick someone in advance by focusing on them when touching them, but once that choice is made for the day she can't change it. That's also how she tries to teach MC to use it in Chapter 5.

She cannot however choose no one, unless she literally touches no one that day. If she doesn't choose in advance, it's random for her again.

I think the Dev has done a good job of showing that Marina is a runner. She encounters problems, she runs. It's all she knows. It's going to be up to MC to show her a better way.

Yeah, she's a runner but that cuts both ways. The guy has her mom's number, so he's threat no matter what. If she backs up Cat's story now, it's not like she couldn't still run away later and there's a chance the threat from the asshole is neutralized. If she lies, she HAS to run away, and this threat is still active. Plus, you know, Cat is sent to the Farm for being raped; that minor issue.

The risk to Marina would be if she herself is detained by telling the truth and only by telling the truth, which seems unlikely. I appreciate that Marina's under a lot of stress here, but she's still making a deeply concerning decision and that's not something that will go away even if the MC manages to avert this. IMHO.

Other than that, it seems like the gameplay is rather limited if you make an 'ethical' playthrough, which is understandable but disappointing.

Personally, I would not be at all surprised if telling the truth there got Marina shipped off to the Farm with Cat just to eliminate "problem students". The principal is sketchy as fuck.

The "safe mode" doesn't affect any of this except where the dude touches Marina in the previous chapter.

Well it works for me completely bypassed the scenes and as the dev notes say some scenes are required as part of the plot so you can bypass seeing them using safe mode but in the story they still happened

safe mode didn't change anything, mainly because It's something the dev is doing intentionally out of spite for those who dislike that stuff

The safe mode works as intended for me as it says in the dev notes some of these scenes are required for the plot so while safe mode allows you to bypass said scenes in the story they still happened and i have no clue if the dev is doing it on purpose or not but i wouldn't be surprised with the way people on this site go overboard attacking devs and some getting death threats over stuff they don't like being added to a game it's not surprising some devs will fight back and do it more just to piss these people off like simpilly if you don't like said content and the safe mode option doesn't work for you then find something else to play.
