the game is overall one of the best i have played. visually its great, the plot is actually really interesting and enjoyable, characters are fun and seem to have their own distinct personalty, the only thing i would criticize is the lack of body variety

First and most important thing on why you SHOULD play this one and why 5 star, because its fun, the role you are in and how things happen are really fun. And for me this is the most important thing.

About the visual, the renders are very good and the LI's are very attractive.

Sex scenes are OK, there's no animation, but they still good, its worth the play.

The history is good as far as AVN goes, as far as chapter 5 it feels very introduction to the game, the development of the world is actually very interesting, how and what for people use their power.

As for cock block, this one didn't really feel like the dev was just holding stuff for people to keep playing the game ( all that didn't happen, really is because it was necessary for the history and not because the dev wants you to keep paying for the next chapter).

Ok so I went into this game with a little trepidation. I love superhero games., but so many have been done poorly I was hesitant to play this. I’m really glad I read the chat and reviews as this game did not disappoint me at all. I cannot wait until the next release.

pros
- love all the characters and that they are unique for the most part.
- renders are quality and definitely makes you interested.
- although the start of the story is not unique the dev does a great job of bringing the story together and allows a fair amount of choices
- writing is done well with very easy to follow conversations I actually wanted to read. A few typos and boring chats, but that is realistic.

Cons
- no sound effects
- seems releases could come a bit quicker, but a good amount of content for a year in.
- could allow for a bit more choice on how relationships develop.

Overall this is a great game that satisfies my superhero love with a great story that moves at a good pace. I cannot wait until the next release and will be supporting this creator.

A very good game, the girls are super hot, the lewds are entertaining but what's best the dialogues are great and fun, and there seems to be planned a very interesting story! Moonsong and Lady Steel are super hot, plus there's a hot stepmother, and I usually don't dig the genre. Definitely recommended!

I've been aware of this game for a while, and seen in mentioned by people who often like the same kinds of things I do, but superheros isn't a big draw for me so I'd pretty much just ignored it.

Still, I eventually decided to give it a shot and wow am I glad I did. It's a fun story, and as you can see on the page here, absolutely gorgeous girls with fun and quirky personalities and powers, quite distinct from each other. The sex scenes are very hot and pretty varied, and occasionally surprising(!).

The renders are great, often fantastic and the story is developing at a good pace, with a nice mix of relationship building and plot.

The story and the setting are amazing. I think it's one of the better AVNs about super powers and who doesn't want to bang these super hot superheroes.

I like that the MC is a virgin to sex and super powers at the start of the story so that we can "grow" together with him.

The renders are great and the women are beautiful. Also there is a diverse cast of women.

And the harem actually does make sense since the MC needs to have sex to get stronger.

Also the developer is a genius for writing a MMF threesome scene which is definitively not NTR.

1. Renders - 4/5
I'll say that the renders and the models are pretty top notch. They're a bit alike for certain ones, as I can imagine they're based on the same model with different morphs, but it doesn't take me out of it too much. Like most VN, everybody is in tip-top shape and perfectly shaped and all, but at least here not ALL the boobs and asses are leaping out of the clothes, just some! Well done!

2. Story and Dialogue - 2/5
A bit weak on the story side: very simple and the catalyst is so dumb. The dialogues are WAY too horny all the time. Friends don't talk to each other like that! Build some tension and expectation with implicit instead of explicit stuff!

3. Kinks - 4/5
The sex scenes are good and quite frequent. I like the fact that there is a way to add or remove some kinks, depending of your taste. Pretty cool!

Overall: 3.5/5
Very enjoyable, the models are dream girls but the story is lackluster and the dialogues are too horny.

0.5 - Fantastic game. Art design is great, LIs are interesting and unique and it has music so that's a huge plus. I have a few points of constructive feedback and while this game is not perfect, it's definitely above average and I am giving this game 5 stars because it's quite unique and the superpowers are very clever, it's not your standard superhero genre game.

I will say that the pacing of the game is not always consistent. Things move pretty quickly with a couple of characters and it has a bit of "meet girl, instant sex" which I am normally against. I prefer slow burn romance games. But in this game it fits the character's story arc and it has a very rational reason and approach to it. That being said I hope there are a few slow burn Lis, It seems like that is the case and the Developer is including both elements.

Another reviewer said this game is heavy on world building but we don't have much plot yet and I have to agree. There are elements of a deeper plot and it's still early days, though in the Developer's notes the Dev is very transparent about this in the early chapters so I am just trusting their vision here. The transparency from the Dev is one of the reasons I have faith in this game.

On a somewhat selfish note, I applaud the Dev for having pubic hair in the game. As a bush lover I pray that you stick to YOUR vision on this and don't let the inevitable cries of "shave her bush!" get to you. There are several shaved characters anyway, so there's something to please everyone.

I started playing this with the 0.5.0 release and I got hooked with the intriguing story and the power dynamic. The MC is very likeable, and I loved all of his friends as well. Ironically I don't play these games for sex scenes but those were fun to watch too. I look forward to what this writer will do in the future with this work.

In a world of superheroes you play as an average joe. The story starts when your suspiciously hot childhood-friend wants to lose her virginity with you thus setting you on a quest to buy some booze. As thing are heading in the right direction. you are attacked by a mutant tiger and rescued by the Sisterhood. a group of female supers... Through some hot shenaingans your powers awaken and Lady Steel (the best love interest) is assigned as your bodyguard...

Let's talk about the renders and sex scenes... we got a shitton of good renders with solid lighting and the sex scenes are long with lots of positions and optional kinks like anal. rimjobs, girl on girl, 3somes

where the game shines brighter is in creating characters with complex and realistic personalities..the original draft had 5 paragtaphs about how amazing Lady Steel is but i'll suarize it with "characters have multiple layers"

I'll likely update this review to be more comprehensive in the future. But in the meantime, here's my quick summary.

Origin Story is easily becoming one of my favorite adult vision novels. I can honestly say that I get more excited for a new release of this visual novel than any other I'm currently playing.

Here's a few reasons why:

• The worldbuilding is interesting and well paced. Because of how it's presented, you can easily skip over the "prologue" worldbuilding, should you choose.
• The characters are varied in terms of appearance, personality, history, and sexual experience/comfort level.
• The humor is good and the dialogue fun and engaging.
• While there are not many choices presented, the ones you make are meaningful and not just throwaway minor dialogue changes.
• And of course the sex scenes are hot and reflective of adult relationships (even if a bit more open in some cases than many people would be used to). Other than one sex scene early in the game, the player has the ability to opt out of any other scenes or relationships that will occur, should they not be interested in certain characters or sexual situations as well.
• Lastly, for people that are sensitive to LIs discussing previous sexual history, lesbian content, anal content, or more, there are straightforward options presented to toggle this content on and off. Personally, none of this bothers me so I keep it all on and I'd honestly recommend others do the same unless they know it'd disrupt their experience.

I highly recommend giving this game a try if the synopsis and tags appeal to you, and supporting the dev if you like it and are able.

I am not a fan of forced sexual relationships in VNs.

Story (as of 0.5) is still kinetic, with only a choice to either fuck or not 2 girls.
(this was covered in Dev notes, so fair play by dev to give out a warning)

Some of the banter is fun.

Story is....I have no idea. Worldbuilding exists. Story? Not so much.

"Sandbox" (term used loosely since it's just few rooms to click before completing whatever objective is) - Why? What's the point of creating 10 rooms in a house so MC can have chat with 2 girls and 1 guy once? Pointless.

Overall, very disappointing even though worldbuilding was fun and nice. Story starts nowhere and goes nowhere and MC is your usual horny teen (though based on his dialogue, more 15y horny than 19y horny).

There's hope for this one though... In few years, with lots more content (and hopefully some choices).
Know I'm being harsh, but it feels fun, for some reason. Hope Dev keeps at it and improves weaker areas.

Origin Story is a traditional erotic fantasy that is all about - every beautiful girl falling for the mc.

HOWEVER, it does a great job of making those relationship journeys absolutely fun, engaging and even heartwarming at times.

On top of that, each individual love interest is also pretty distinct and charming in their own way.

Coming to the story side of things, the super power angle is executed quite entertainingly. Though it is your typical power fantasy, it is also pretty high on engagement with a lot of intrigue and surprises along the way.

In short, Origin Story is "mainstream erotica" done right, and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone who just wants a good time in their Visual Novels.

Origin Story was, at first, something I thought I wouldn't like. I'm not really into monster girls and the like so I thought this would be too much for me. However, because I like meta-human shows and movies, I'd thought I'd give it a shot. I couldn't be more glad that I did! This was an excellent VN and I really enjoyed the humor and how the origin story slowly unfolds instead of overwhelming the viewer.

I'd highly recommend this VN to anyone who enjoys a few laughs, great dialogue, and some absolutely beautiful and varied women. I'll tune back in later to see where this story goes!

A great wee game with a lot going for it.

I was somewhat dubious about play it at first as I felt the story a bit too.... fanciful. Not that there's anything wrong with that but rather games which tend to talk a good game usually fall short of expectation but all in all I found this game actually quite pleasant.

There are downsides but part of me wonders how much of that works simply because of the plot. The MC is.... a bit of a melt. He talks a LOT about masturbation. But not only that but he'l straight up admit to peoples faces that he fantasies about them while he does it. No sane person would do that. What's worse are the women seem almost flattered by the idea. Which is... absurd. The plot is such that it makes sense for the MC to be that type of person but at the same time it's so cringy at times and as I mentioned, he seems to talk about it a lot so there's a lot of cringe in there. He's got plot armour though so naturally everything he says has the women lapping it up. Which seems a bit lazy from a writing point of view but hey, wouldn't be the first game to have it.

The plot is interesting. People have super powers. The why is explained but not really focused on. It's a thing, deal with it. But this isn't simply a case of "oh this character has superman powers, this one's the flash, this one's spiderman etc etc etc" the chaotic nature of the powers people have and the supposed randomness is such that it's quite refreshing. This isn't a game where the dev is doing a Justice League self insert.

The game's a bit short though. version 0.4 in 8 months so an update every two months or so isn't the worst but they felt short. Kinda feels like the game you leave to cook for a year and hope it lasts, certainly one worth supporting cause if it can ace the landing it could be quite special

This game is amazing! The world-building is incredible, and all the girls are unique, each with their own personality. Choices matter and change the story of the game.

I can't wait for next updates!!!

Unbiased Review of Origin Story

Pros
-wide range of Li's. Especially the milf, she's the hottest one in this game.

-Posing, expression and sex acts are quite nice. Not too generic like many VNs

-interesting premise about people developing powers.


Cons
- Extremely short for supposedly 4 chapters of content. You could breeze this in 15 mins even with reading some very forgettable and pointless dialogue.

- Lots of girls as mentioned but half of them just look alike and you won't even remember why MC sleeps with half the girls in this game.

- what is the plot again? Something about his dick being able to absorb powers from sleeping with girls. Beyond that it really is not interesting despite having a nice setting. Keep things simple


Overall its way too short and tries to fit in too much.

Really enjoying this game! Only thing. I wish this had were some animations, but the renders are great and writing so far has been top tier. Plenty of games with renders as good as this, but very few with this quality of plot

Enjoyed playing it though it was short. waiting for new content. Expecting more scenes with evelyn, riley, and the sisterhood. Some gameplay with use of powers for different things. If anything happens with amber i hope the scenes actually reveal her look.

Looks amazing. I think it is still early in its development (current version: 0.4.0). Good looking designs and scenes, good story (if you like this kind of staff (scifi x-men etc), and I love them).
