OL2: Diner Sunset & Night BG
Here's a couple very pretty alterations for the end of Golden Grove! So atmospheric. These appear in Step 2, however the old diner hasn't changed much at all from Step 1.

OL2: The Voiced Names List
Hey! I'm now able to share what should be the finalized voiced name list for OL2. It's 1,657 options in total, haha. I hope everybody finds a name that works for them!
Though, there is still a chance there will be small changes to the list. If a backer forgot to submit a name or really needs to change the name they picked, I'll update the info.
And here's some quick notes on the voiced name system in general:
Only Tamarack and Qiu will have voice lines for these names, no side character will. But they will be voiced by the two leads in all four Steps!
It's possible to spell a name differently in the game while using voice files for it. If you want to turn "Franky" into "Frankie", that's totally doable.
These names were chosen by backers of the OL2 Kickstarter. We're not not able to accept new names at this point in development.
You can only voice your first name. If you have a nickname, you can't pick a voiced name for it even if your nickname is on this list.

it only includes the feminine form of my name can't complain because i haven't spent a dime, but man. not even the english version of that name.
oh well. wasn't really planning to play as anything other than OCs i guess.

Ayy my name, another name I use, my OCs name AND the nickname I use for her all are on the list (Though I guess that's irrelevant, but I am considering a plot point of her changing her name to the nickname later in life now that I know it's there)! There's a lot of names that are more out there but I guess that's what happens when there are so many names on here in general lollll I'm not mad about variety
for anyone bummed about their name not making the cut you could potentially find one that sounds the same but is spelled differently? like Cassandra and Kassandra are going to be pronounced the same. Besides it might get added later! Don't give up hope! ^.^

Agreed like I hardly could see any names I use for my mc at all here's the all the stupid ones I found that I don't see anybody using for the mc so idk why tf they are there I circled these in 5 minutes could probably find more if I looked
I checked reddit gb said they weren't doing any more voiced names just these and it's a shame frankly I see like 50 stupid ones named after food, objects or weekdays included
My day has officially been ruined I only see my mcs NICKNAME ON THERE well I hated the voices anyway but it sucks that I'm still not getting anything for the names I used for like 3 of the different characters I made
Con is the only one of that list that is "fine" had a boss whose nickname was Con, it was short for Conner but it was a nickname not a "real" name FML.
I must admit i don't really care for voice acting in a VN, I use my imagination for characters voices and i feel this is a waste of resources.

So, it's a waste of resources for people who backed the Kickstarter to even get this game funded? You can feel sad that your name wasn't on it but if you didn't back to get your name on it, why are we upset exactly? I'm confused.
In my opinion, the voice acting should be the last thing the dev should have done. I prefer that they stay focused on the writing and art
But it probably because I play solo game with no sound at all

But Kab is finished with Step 1? It is the last thing she's doing for the step besides you know, adding more things to the MC doll. Their attention for writing, scripting, coding, art, etc is all on Step 2 right now then they'll get the Step 2 VAs after Step 2 is finished the same way they're doing for S1.
For a nickname sure but an actual name? No Con is normal sounding for a nickname but I don't know anybody irl named Con at all so it falls under the goofy red circle vibe.
Not everybody has the money to back the game sure I'm fine with the game getting backed no complaints there my complaint is a bunch of weird ass names that no one will use and they won't do any more. If I had liked the voices and I planned to use them I would be disappointed if I worked on multiple mcs for months to not see a single name on there and instead see a weird ass name like "Waffle" on the chart. I'm allowed to be disappointed about that and I'm sure others are as well who actually wanted their Mcs names to be voiced with a fair shot at decent names on there.
If that answers your question because I'm not gonna keep talking about this what's done is done and I just won't use the voices at all in my playthroughs like others do.

Not that I planned on having the voices on at all to begin with, but WOW those really are some awful names.
What was saying that they put the voice acting after they finished the product
But I respect your opinion that they should do it Step by step even tho i disagree
