Yeah, I wasn't gonna post on a Tuesday, but I realized I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow and it'd be better to just have the build come out before then. There's no law saying I have to post at the exact same time everyday, haha.
So we've now got the first Step 1 DLC Moment fully playable. Hooray! You can finally get through the night and come out on the other side.

And since we've had some problems in the past with so many people downloading beta builds that they get locked out by Google Drive, I've uploaded mirror builds! If the first ones listed don't work, you can try these.

Or you can bypass the quota by logging in to a Google Drive account, then on the file's download page, click "Add shortcut to Drive" in the upper right corner. Save it to your Drive, then create a new folder, put it inside, and download the folder!
Save files from the prior beta should work in this beta!

  • Sound effects added throughout, though not all of them
  • Fixes to typos/errors from the prior build

The android one doesn't work

I believe this might be indicative of a device version mismatch (i.e trying to run a 32 bit app on a 64 bit firmware.) It could also mean that your version of android might be older than what's required. You should also check to see if you have enough storage to install it.
As far as I know, if you're on Android 9 or lower, it's been deprecated and no longer usable by the engine they use for OL2. I'll do some digging to see if I can find a solution on this.

If you have the previous version installed, please try to uninstall it. I don't think the previous version can be overwritten with the new apk as another user mentioned on the other page. If that doesn't work please post here again and I'll try to see what I can do to troubleshoot the issue.

It worked, but i did lose my saves. Which sucks since now i gotta redo all the routes but oh well, just gotta hope the next version doesnt have this issue. Because if it does im fucked

Really sorry to hear about your save files but I think it has something to do with the update to the engine they use, which is why it couldnt be overwritten. Here's to hoping this won't be an issue in the future! I'll look into seeing if there's a way to preserve save files just in case there isn't.

I appreciate the reference to "our life : beginnings and always" with the phrase that the main character can say "don't let the bugs bite" for saying good night at the slumber party

After looking into this, I think you may be able to access the save data via android/obb or android/data without needing root access. I'll test this out and i'll post again if I get successful results.
