Real shit. I never would have looked twice at this game had I seen it in itch. Matter of fact, took me years to even look at it here, but all the updates and the fact it had 5 stars with quite a bit of reviews picked my interest.
Really does matter where you find a game, doesn't it? Having this game here oddly gives it credibility. It's got to be really good for it to not only be here, but to have success on an adult game site while not having any adult content ingame (yet).

The profile picture checks out, but really the 5 star rating and a million views is fantastic for this pretty good game.
Server's already gone, so if this thread goes, that's unfortunately the end of this.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that. GB can't really do anything here but the mod can, they haven't taken any action so its more likely that nothing happens
With all this talk of piracy reporting, I have to ask: how are so many devs okay with their games being shared here? Some even post it here directly. I don't imagine a regular indie game dev would be thrilled to know his game is being leaked in an incredibly popular piracy forum, so what gives?
Well, I see that the majority of Devs don't have problems with piracy. Mostly, they promote their games here. However, I see some Devs that share free demo but forbid future leaks or full game to be shared. I didn't see any dev who took major action against the site like suing. The far I saw someone is to put some kind of uncrackable protection. I'm not expect on technical stuff. I see comments from the dev who are bothered by piracy and they even ask their players to not download games from here.
There are a decent number of devs who are aware that stuff is shared here against their will - however, I can't remember seeing a case where they successfully removed a game from the site. The ones I do know who are around here who have to have their stuff leaked usually have this disclaimer about being aware and not condoning our antics, but choosing to interact with the community regardless.
I'd imagine if that person found out about this thread they probably know about the other, so it's only a matter of time really.
This isn't the first one, MiSide had a thread here that was taken down which I think is what caused the whole thing for the removal of SFW games from this site. And I have to say, if asked, out of respect for GB and her work, I'd stop posting.
Do people think suing is free? lol, you will probably lose more money trying to win a lawsuit than piracy could ever lose you. The way it is is: 1. small time devs are barely making enough to afford to live off their game OR 2. devs that make a lot of money (like this dev) will have to dedicate a good portion of their income to file legal stuff in the hopes of winning it all back by inreasing number of subscribers (borderline impossible/delusional) instead of just biting the bullet and benefiting from their full income. There's a reason why even gaming megacorps resort to just increasingly locking their games with intrusive drms or making the game live service, instead of trying to pursue every pirate on the planet.
Piracy can be advertisement. Most people who pirate were either never going to buy the product, or can be convinced to buy and/or support through having free access. I think GBPatch even somewhat understands this, as their previous game has the main game free on Steam, with purchasable expansions. Some people won't buy until they try. Others will never buy, but they will be your word of mouth, and word of mouth is powerful.
