Robert feels completely pointless given Lena by default makes it very clear she finds him very off-putting and wants nothing to do with him. But then suddenly you get option to have sex with him without any buildup and it's like... "but why would you even want to?" Dude has literally nothing going for him.
His 'pointlessness' is his point :)
Lena's paths all take long buildups. She can have sex with Ian in chapter 4, Louise and Mike in 5, Jeremy and Holly in 7, Seymour and Axel in 9. Ian has Alison and Cherry in chapter 2 already so Lena needs someone to fuck early in the game, hence Robert.
He is supposed to be a lesser Ian, a 'bad' option for Lena, without him she would feel even more railroaded into a hooking up with Ian.
Now, after most of her paths have opened up for Lena, he is indeed pointless. So he'll fade away simply by not showing up any more. He actually has a scene in chapter 10, you only get it if you get in an argument with Ian and didn't go for Mike.

I always think Robert could also become a "lesser" Axel, you know? I mean, he is into Lena and try hook up with her since ch. 1 and always think this could lead to Robert become obsesed by her and just like Axel start stalking her and be more aggressive. Or in a path where he and Lena have sex but she eventually ignore him to priorize Ian, Robert doesn't take well. This tyoe of things.

Having a character whom the MC explicitly doesn't want to fuck as a person to fuck just isn't something that can be defended as sensible.

If all Lena wanted was someone to fuck, then with her looks she can get that literally in 5 mins grabbing first good looking guy from a street. And it'll also has advantage of not getting tangled with her boss she cannot stand.

I'm pretty sure it's Mike who is designed as "lesser Axel" -- Lena mentions multiple time both of them make her feel similar (Mike is just a little more playful), both cheat on their girlfriend, they fuck her similarly, they (can) work with Lena in creative field (Lena was Axel's model, with Mike she can collaborate on making music) and now in episode 10 Mike shows he has very similar anger control issues that Axel has shown, when he completely disregards Lena's wishes and instead gets all incensed and aggressive with Axel because he feels personally slighted.

In fact the thing am most interested re: Mike is how Lena will deal with this new side he's shown her, given how allergic she was to her other boyfriends acting in such manner. I'm curious if the plot armor will still defend Mike in this situation like it usually does, avoiding to address it, or if it gets some actual attention.

I definitly agree about "lesser Axel", but i doubt he will become "obssesed" in the same way.
I will be honest, i saw plenty of situations like that in real life and not a single time a woman saying "stop it" worked, dudes always fight, i dont think Mike is that kind of guy, Axel has some real mental problems on the other hand.
So i think it will be ignored, the scene is a bit railroaded, Lena is always overreact there no matter if she is on drugs or not.
Honestly, it would be funny if Axel character the way he is now because of some gear he takes to look that buff, but i'm not sure if Eva ever mentions stuff like that(or is aware how it works , in GGGB she describes Jack as if the dude is natty or something), but it would be refreshing if Axel rage and obbsessive behaviour has something to do with some steroids messing with his aggression level lol.

It depends on the player's choices. Even if Lena is slutting it up, but she's honest, Robert becomes a simp for her regardless of the fact she's fucking everybody else. Early on, Robert and Ian are opposites in certain aspects. I liked the changes Eva Kiss made to Robert's character compared to the early versions of ORS. He's a dumb fuck, but he's not malicious. He's somewhat broke too, but he can offer to pay Lena's rent for a few months and look after her despite that. I thought it was a nice touch and made him more sympathetic.

I actually wonder if maybe it's going to be Lena who gets obsessed in this pairing -- because their whole relationship is effectively Lena constantly throwing herself at Mike and getting all giddy and proud of herself whenever he humors her and hooks up, as if getting a guy who doesn't give two shits about his girlfriend stick a dick in you was some sort of major achievement when you have looks of a supermodel and practically beg him to fuck you.

When Lena activates her _love flag with Mike she starts to display expectations that maybe he will dump his girlfriend for her, and she tells Ivy she would like that. So, it might either go this way (given Lena's protagonist status and all) or, in rather unlikely case Mike is reluctant, we might see Lena start to act like Axel :V

That definitly a possibility, we as a player know tho, that if the "love" dialogue option exist they are in the bag already no matter what lol, so i bet he will dump the girl or maybe there would be some threesome potential in the future, but until we "commit" it would not matter i think, you can trow those "hearts" at everyone at this point.
And if its indeed Gillian i cant wait for the drama lol.

I'm almost done writing the new scene for Chapter 10, and it will be published in the Full version release as soon as the corresponding art is ready (notice I've changed terminology from "final" to "full" release, since the former often elicits confusion on the status of completion of the game. I should probably just change to a numeric system altogether instead).
Aside from a few enhancements and tweaks, the full release will include a fully-fledged scene with Minerva that adds more than 1000 new lines to the script. So, if you're a Minerva fan, you're in luck: she won't be absent from chapter 10, and this will be her most stellar scene to date.

Aww. Good for Minerva fans, but considering my Ian had literal 0 relationship with her and got a new job, that's about as valuable as a scene with Robert. Oh well.
