I mean it makes sense for a semi-realistic game the average guy, who Ian is, has a harder time getting into threesomes with literal models. Comparing Ian to Axel is like comparing apples to the whole goddamn fruit section. Lena on the other hand starts off already very desirable. Hot as fuck, artistic, and a model. From a writing perspective it makes sense why Lena content is favoured to be more sexual and corruption based. As an example take the scenario man corrupts woman and put that into a porn game narrative. If the perspective is on the man he doesnt experience character growth. He starts Chad and ends up Chad with a corrupted woman companion. The way to give him growth would be to start the story a loser and over time he becomes the Chad. I think thats whats happening in ORS, for example, Ian can slowly become more of a dom to Lena, bust nuts into Alison and make her bark, get rougher with Holly, make Cindy keep cheating, etc. But his growth into Chad is too slow for a lot of people so I see where a lot of people are coming from. If the perspective is shifted to be on the woman, the character arc is obvious, she starts off uncorrupted and becomes corrupted over time. This is kinda complciated tthough because in ORS the perspective is on both characters and theres multiple characters with multiple routes.

I think one way to look at it is Lena content more favours corruption and Ians content more favours romance, but both characters have love and courruption in their content one way or another.

I totally get what the intent is with Ian re: character growth. I think Eva overdid it making him average / making the other characters better than him though.

I will say, I think there are tons of unexplored vectors for charter growth- the loser male MC who becomes better overtime is super overdone. I presume in part because it is baseline relatable to a lot of male gamers, but also in equal part because it is a very clear character design. Also, very easy to write.

You're right an insta-chad with no flaws or development isn't very interesting. I'd posit it is reductive to say a male character cannot have growth unless they start out weak / small / a loser though. A stronger male character can have lot of vectors for character development- smut game developers just aren't usually creative / smart enough to do it.
(Not a dig at Eva- just more a general criticisms of the industry writ large. I think she could have if she wanted to.)

The super hot female corruption character who just becomes a cum-dump eventually is perhaps the most overdone trope in porn as well. I don't really get why it is so popular- there is some sort of pervasive zietgiest there regarding the average porn game consumer that I simply am not understanding. I prefer to see female protagonist content where they aren't just used and abused by the men around them; but there sure as hell aint much of it.

I will concede that. Lena compared to Ashley the protagonist from Eva Kiss' first game is a much worse written character. i think the issue stems from her being the ex of Axel, the ultimate gigachad. Ashley starts the story in a relantionship and needs to work up to the point of being willing to cheat. In ORS the only stat comparable to the good/bad points is the lust stat, which is inconsistent in the sense of sometimes it determines how good of a fuck the character is and otherr times its how willing is this person willing to break someones trust (ie pushing Jeremy for a blowie despite Ian having a crush on her yada yada).

BTW these problems with ORS writing / strucuture are only problems because of Eva Kiss' high standard. Legit any other game on this website is a pump and dump, no thoughts given to their characters past post nut clarity. IMO ORS is the best game on here, but therefore should be held to a higher standard
