I've been working on a small fan project regarding the game and was wondering if there was a way to get my hands on the images used by the game (without having to screen-shot them)?

Have you tried Unren? If your using Windows that is. Linux you need a script to run something similar.

You can use GIMP or Photoshop to convert the images form webp into png. But you'll have to do that one by one, so it will take you a lot of time. I didn't find any free software that will allow you to convert webp in bulk, at least not for png. If you want to keep the transparent background for all the characters + to make sure that the overlay works, you need png.
For a personal project, writing your own story and reusing the assets, I would say that the easiest way to do it is to keep using webp for images. If you want to use different clothes in different scenes, just look in 0gallery_variables.rpy or 0naming_conventions.rpy You can create your own components and use them in the story script.
Extra: You can use _naming_conventions.rpy (_ instead of 0). It will have the same effect Eva wanted in the game, to keep those file above all the other; easy to find and change.

I wanted to re-imagine a certain scenario from the game with

but since I would be reusing a lot of dialogue and images from the actual game, I figured I could just get them from there instead of wasting time recreating them.Just unzip it into the game's main directory where the exe file is and run the bat file. I think it should be one of the first choices that unrap the images.
Just posted this one two pages back to the same question. Closest I've seen with good writing and similar art.

I can post some other good recs too, but they may be a few more steps removed from EvaKiss. By "close to", what are your must-haves? It's hard to find adult games worth a damn in general, so the less specific your wants, the more options you'll have.

In my opinion not quite on the same lvl as ORS but the artstyle is kinda similar and the writing not too bad.

I agree. With the exception of a very small handful of 3dcg games that put A+ extra effort into modifying pre-made models & perfecting lighting techniques, Das3d and Honeyselect games are usually dead-plastic awful looking.
The following story-forward 2dcg games are quite different from Eva's games, but have solid art and all-around good general design.

Oh, is that what happened? The original artist was doing stellar work. The new stuff isn't bad, but after the original, it's hard not to feel disappointed.
i checked both lust campus versions and i preferd the first aswell.
