Absolutely true, but blackmail, attempts to impose oneself and use the girl's vulnerable position are too much.
What blackmail again?

Robert is clearly set-up as a bad-version of Ian. Is he worse than Axel or Jeremy? No, but he is also not better than them. The difference is that Axel and Jeremy have somehow charisma Robert not. I don’t like the person Robert, but I think the type of person he represents has been implemented pretty good by Eva Kiss.

And just having a job, doesn’t make somebody a better person. Perry is lazy and a porn addict, but at least he has some moral standards. ;)
Not better, no. But less successful, maybe that is because he is hated so much

Also, here is EvaKiss in her last Q&A on Robert:
Robert was conceived to be a "bad" version of Ian, a guy not worthy of Lena's attention but who she could chose to pursue to simply satiate her lust. He was meant to have unlikable traits, but maybe I overdid it a bit too much lol. That's why I did a subtle rewrite to make him a bit less unsavory, but he had already gained everyone's hate. Though I've been trying to paint Robert a bit more as the "victim" recently, when Lena only uses him on a whim and doesn't care about his feelings at all, I guess Robert's that character that you just love to hate and that's fun

I bet there'll another opportunity for Lena to get it on with Jeremy down the line even if she's in relationship with Ian. I mean it's not like all that flirtation, sext and bj at party, plus her addiction for it will simply vanish just because she's in relationship.
Most of the time if it's relationship check I think what done's done. Like if you said no to Louis, Stan, Robert, Minerva, Emma, Cherry, Holly.

Yeah but not in the case of Jeremy though, cause if you look at it Lena didn't reject him, she simply decided not to make a move which btw Jeremy wasn't even aware of, for him their last interaction was sext between them, so it's not really over imo.

Now if only there was a show that could make you feel some compassion for Robert....
I do have the most compassion for Robert since he acts like I did in my teenage years. But apparently he didn't mature past that point. I really want him to grow as a person, to understand his mistakes. I hoped hurting Lena would make him start questioning himself, but he disappeared from the game in my playthrough, so... Too bad he completely screwed up his first impression. But hey, it happened to me too. Sucks for him, but he could still become friends with Lena if he really cared for her and did some deep self-digging to realize that his overcompensation makes him look like a massive douchebag instead of a macho he wants girls to see him as. But just as a friend though, no sneaky bullshit. Maybe, he would really get lucky with Louise. Only I doubt she'd be able to date him when he occasionally "parties with his bros" for a week. On the other hand, maybe Alison would be a better fit for him. I can see her enjoying his dorky compliments and horny impulses.

A question for those who played the game: since I like the cheating kink, I'd like a playthrough where Lena and Ian get together and she cheats on him. My doubt here is how much this "storyline" is supported: I mean, do I have to wait 8 chapters to have them together or you can do it early on?

They can start hooking up early on, but they can't get officially together, as an exclusive couple, until Chapter 9. And yes, cheating is possible.

My Ian, with the help of Sensei WEN and Jiu-Jitsu training, will be ready for the tournament, and any kind of assholes with their name starting with A, R, M, and even Jer no-no Jermy will be fine.

My Ian in the tournament will be like this.

Jiujitsu trained Ian.png

While Jermy should take Jiu-Jitsu seriously because If he did not he will be fucked by someone else.!

Jermy in the tournament if he did not take Jiu-Jitsu seriously.!

Maybe my memory is failing me which would not be strange, but if I remember correctly the next martial tournament is between different gymnasiums / dojos / academies, if that is true, then I see it unlikely that we will face Jeremy in said tournament, except that the only ones remaining participants are from Jeremy and Ian's gym.

Having a job makes him better than Perry, Ian, and Wade. He's also worse than all of these in other aspects. It's a pretty pathetic bunch all together, the men of Our Red String.

No, Lena can sleep with everyone and still be in proper relationship with Ian. Lena only rejects Ian if she 'wake up Jeremy' in chapter 8, she can still flirt or do other things with him though.
Interesting. Didn't notice that since I was playing all-in. Wish it was possible to be to do both at the same time. I don't understand why waking up Jeremy locks in that choice.

Yes, "blackmail" is probably not the right word here. I mean, he kept the news to himself to get Lena to go to the bar with him as his only chance. And the fact that he helps with the management of the restaurant only if she has sex with him and will continue the "relationship", and if they break off, he will refuse to do it.

I don't think Alison would consider him for a serious relationship. And will they meet at all? But you're right, he's probably too party-goer for Louise. On the other hand, he is rather one of those who are ready to postpone something for the sake of a girlfriend. As for the friendship with Lena, I think he needs to do something else besides hedonism and work. Find some hobby. An interesting look at his psychological profile. I did not have such an experience, so I myself probably could not see it in him.

Ian has a job, and if not for Minerva, it would be a lot less shitty and burdensome than Robert. Moreover, if he plays the cards correctly, then he already has a collaboration in the Victor White project and a job at the publishing house Hierofant, which, however, is threatened by Seymour. So in general he is already much higher in rank than Robert. Not to mention that Lena wants to be with him, unlike Mr. At Least I Have a Job.
