I thought the deal Ivy made with Axel revolved around her getting the Wild Cats job. Anything beyond that is speculation. What her end of the bargain was is unclear; though to be fair, his end of the bargain is also unclear just easier to intuit.

One of the things I really don't like about chapter 11, is it takes away a lot of some of the more interesting speculations we as a player base had about the characters. Up until she mentions Axel didn't uphold their accord, we were all pretty much in agreement that while Ivy did it in her own unique, albeit at times misguided, way she does have Lena and Holly's best interests at heart. See also, her Perry interaction.

Same applies to Marcel; again I think a lot of people here acknowledged he would still be used for BBC, but his interactions with Holly made it seem like it wouldn't be the normal troupe.

Ivy, to me, is a more interesting character as a slutty, but kind hearted friend. Not as a scheming manipulative slut. That is a tired troupe. Marcel was more interesting as a friendly giant, and not as a background BBC fetish.
Nice bait I know who ivy really is..

Not falling for that trap

Tbf, the whore with a heart of gold is also a much used trope. I always saw Ivy as manipulative and selfish, specially with Holly but also with Lena and I think I'd prefer that to your interpretation. Now, manipulative and selfish doesn't mean necessarily evil and heartless. She could care about Lena (I have much more doubts regarding Holly) but just on her terms and putting herself first.

The deal seemed to have been a one time thing. Could very well be, that Alex screwed Ivy over, very well knowing they weren't looking for her type.
Or that he overstated to Ivy his role and importance on the selection process (would fit his character pretty well) and make it look like he was the one choosing and instead he was just part of the process and others preferred Cindy.

I don't know -- it's not like the game exactly had any of these up to this point. The closest it gets to it is Ian fucking his friend's girlfriend and even that is just him mostly being horny.

I mean, Andrea9999 people had expected evil plans from Seymour too and he turned out to be just a pathetic simp.
I don't know, you have Ian and Wade, Ian and Perry (Emma), Jeremy and Ian (Lena), Lena and Louise (Jeremy), Louise/Ivy and Lena (sending nudes to Ian), Slutty Holly and Lena (Ian)... There are plenty of shitty friendships going on, it's more difficult to find the wholesome ones (basically Emma's).
