Well not content wise but quality wise. Usually if you're passionate about something you try to raise the bar, at least imho.
Sure, when you create something yourself, but what has that to do with playing and enjoing a game? I mean, when i actually imagen, that everytime i play a good or even great game, that would raise the overall bar for what i would need to enjoy playing it, i would in the end run out of games to enjoy pretty fast, wouldnt i? And imo that would seem like a pretty sad point of view, when only better and even better and even more better games would be needed to get any enjoyment, but will there be left in the end? I mean let us be completly honest. An easy to assume fact would be that eva did learn a few things since the day she started GGGB, so it would be similar easy to assume, that she did imprive herself since that day, and there is in the end no real reason, why that shouldnt be true after she finished ORS. So that would also mean, that ORS is "better" as GGGB and that any game she will do after ORS will be even better as ORS. Would that now also mean for you that, you wouldnt be able to enjoy GGGB when later games of her would be better and allready did raise your bar and therefore wouldnt be worth playing? That is and i say it again, a quite sad point of view imo. And i only used "better" as part of this simile. Because i dont really believe in any flat "better" when it comes to games, or stories overall. Because there is no better, there is just different, and of course everyone should feel free to enjoy one story or game more as another one. That is completly legit. And in the end, even when we two would enjoy the same things, i am sure as sure, we would enjoy them for different reasons. And that would also be legit. But that wouldnt actually make things we enjoy actually better as those we dont enjoy as much wouldnt it? No, of course not. Even when some people would now disagree. But some people allways need a ranking list better, worse. *sigh* What is wrong with just different? But by the number of post i would assume, that point of view is a minority. Well, it is not as if i wasnt allready used to be that.
