Big think. Now I wish Eva would have taken some time off between finishing GGGB and dropping ORS v0.1. I can imagine how overwhelming it might be to work 5-6 months non-stop and releasing this amount of content. If any dev deserves patience and all the time in the world, it would be Eva.

Chapter 3 update
Hi guys!
I'm sorry I'm a bit late this month, but I already saw it coming and so I told you. Good news is I'm almost done and the Alpha should be ready to play in just a few days, so don't worry too much!
On the other hand these last months working on ORS (2 months of working on pre-production+GGGB DLCs and then working on 3 straight releases) have been pretty intense! As I keep working myself into this new game (I'm really loving it, I hope it shows!) I'm learning more and more on how developing ORS will be. The standards of quality that I have set for myself this time are pretty high compared to GGGB, and I'm not only talking about better art, backgrounds and menus, I'm also talking about presentation, game mechanics and especially writing.
Setting up the plot lines, the narrative axis and developing deeper characters takes time and the writing process is not as straightforward as it was with GGGB. My goal will always be to push out a full fledged update per month, but quality comes first, and I'll take as much time as needed for each chapter, so delays are probable to occur... I'll figure it out when the time comes. And I'm beginning to need a vacation!
The last chapter of GGGB meant 3 hard months of work and right after I plunged myself into another 5 months of non-stop development with ORS and the DLCs! Looking back I feel like I barely got time to enjoy the feeling of finishing GGGB... That's my own fault too, though. It was like, right after finishing GGGB, I couldn't stand to look at it and I wanted to get working on ORS right away because I knew I could do better! Right now I'm very excited working on ORS and it's practically all I want to do, so don't worry about it getting dropped or stalled.
It might just take a bit more time to produce.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy chapter 3 in a few days!

P.D.: Do you like Lena's dress? She'll get the chance to wear them in chapter 3 if you decide to meet a certain character...
Now, I'm not sure how to feel about Lena's outfit and the circumstances that are going to make her wear that. Dress up for Axel?... But why? To give a false impression that she moved on and likes to entice guys? The top is similar to Cindy's but the colors would fit Louise more than Lena, in my opinion. If the skirt was blue, it would look much better.

I can see your point, but Lena admitted to Louise that "I don't know if I have moved on myself" and "[...] when he showed up...All my feelings resurfaced". Are we so sure she does not have any feeling for Axel anymore? He clearly represented an important man in her life, a figure she was attracted to and for which she had strong feelings which triggered an equally strong reaction once she found out she had been cheated. Women never really move on with their first true love (assuming he is the first true one...), and I believe this is an aspect that will recur in this game, significant reason for having Axel as one of the [main] characters.

Obviously she has intense feelings for Axel, those of hurt, misery and resentment. That's why she can't let it go and move on. But it doesn't mean that she's willing to forgive him and go back to him, especially considering that he just can't take a hint and goes full sociopath on her, going to her mom and all that. I don't think that she would dress up for his benefit to show what he missed. I think she chooses to dress up this way out of spite, to make him think that she's free of him and can do whatever and dress however she wants, and he's gotta deal with it. At least until he explains himself. I don't know what kind of explanation or apology is going to satisfy Lena, honestly.

I hope Ian will too have the option to change outfit a little bit because although I dig the comfy hoodie mostly when I'm at home, that's not what I'd wear on a daily basis when going out... and it also looks kinda bland to me.
I think that's the point, Ian depending on how you play him might not be a loser, but he definitely isn't a fashionable person. He might change his look once he gets more confident or closer to the end of the game so she has less work redrawing scenes instead of making new stuff.
Maybe it's not precisely his explanations or apologies what "satisfies" Lena...
Jokes and this being a porno game aside we really don't know what exactly happened between Axel and Lena, yes we know he acted like a prick after their breakup and that he probably cheated on her, but we know nothing about their relationship: maybe there were extenuating circumstances, maybe he didn't cheat but Lena had reasons to suspect, maybe he was the perfect boyfriend before that one lapse, maybe he acting like a prick was a first, maybe... There are a lot of scenarios where I can imagine Axel convincing Lena to give him a second chance or at least to keep things civil for the time being.

Yeah, that's what I thought would happen even before Ch.2 was released. I am convinced this will be a possible option in the chapters to come. I can definitely see a scenario where he asks for a second chance and that he realised what he's done was wrong and that he has changed his way and all that kind of speech. I'd say it is a likely scenario because if not, why hasn't Lena completely moved on from that breakup ?
Who knows, maybe Axel did change ... at least in terms of relationship and he now truly cares about Lena's feelings ... or maybe he did not really change and he's going to get back to his old habits and we'll get some kind of "bad end" for Lena where she's mentally unable to do anything against him and she'll end up a beaten wife ... well, let's hope not.

We'll have to wait and see. If Eva decides to include that, it's probably going to be in the mid to late game. If that happens though, Ian is going to channel his inner Liam Neeson and kill the bastard(s).

Okay looks like our release prayer turned into a hot alt. costume prayer. Not complaining at alllllllll.
I'm assuming that it would be someone she likes or has a rapport with, I don't really see anyone wearing something like this when they're meeting acquaintances (old art gallery guy) or Axel (hated ex-boyf). Seems like date/party (maybe club?) attire so probably one of the guys we've already been dealing with in earlier chapters. So I guess Ian (non-creep), Robert (minor creep), and... not really anyone else tbh.Hm, I wonder who this mystery character is and why they would have an impact on what Lena decides to wear

As for the character Lena is meeting in the new dress, aren't you missing someone obvious? Maybe she is going out with Ivy, hitting the clubs or something like that. That would be a good reason to spruce her looks up.

Ian is not some kind of superhero or exclusive protector of Lena, if something bad happen to Lena it would be due to the player's decisions, the player will probably be able to decide how Ian will act in that situation, with the right decisions Ian can be a alpha but he can also be a beta

Well duh. That's what I meant. If that sort of thing happens, MY Ian is going to fuck 'em up and rescue her or die trying.
Ivy is certainly the one who influences Lena to try something new. I guess the wording "meet a certain character..." is a bit too mysterious for Ivy. So it's natural to expect either someone new or someone who we (players) haven't really gotten the chance to interact with as Lena.

I ... think I know who that person will be but I kinda hope to be wrong (because I dislike him).
I think it's going to be Jeremy. What makes me think that is because, remember at the end of Ch.2 when he's flirting with Allison at the bar ?
I think Jeremy and Lena will meet in Ch.3 and he'll most likely invite her to the club where he works.

I agree, I don't think it's going to be Axel. I don't see Lena wanting to dress up for him given we know what she thinks of him. If you were to go the route of trying to make him jealous or showing him you've moved on then having her post pics of herself with other guys on social media would be better imo. We all know Axel would be stalking her accounts, probably has an alt account lol. I'm leaning more towards this character being someone we haven't met yet.
