After the comments here and elsewhere about the amount of photographers and modelling routes, and with Ivy mentioning to Lena that their shoot with Billy will happen soon, it got me thinking about what role Billy could fill.
I think the different modelling paths at this point complement each other fairly well, but I'm more unsure about Billy's role. We already have the completely professional photographer (Danny?), the amateur helping out when needed (Stan), Lena's own pictures for her social media, the nude modelling for drawing classes, the hotshot photographer who also happens to be an ex (Axel), the rich, powerful guy who uses photography more as a means to an end (Seymour), and people documenting their sexual encounters with their phones (mainly Jeremy).
With Billy it's not likely to be an ordinary nude modelling job, as that would feel repetitive at this point, and it wouldn't be necessary to introduce a new character for that. It could be a more erotic shoot with other models, but that would feel similar to the Seymour shoot with Axel, just without the existing sexual tension. The obvious alternative is porn, which fits in with how Billy's offer obviously is too good to be true. But I really can't see Lena saying yes to that at this point—it feels way too early (if it's ever gonna happen).
The one obvious difference from Lena's previous shoots, is that it seems she'll be doing it together with Ivy. Maybe it will mostly be about Ivy using the occasion to try to get Lena to join her in her sexually liberated lifestyle? Like group sex with the photographer(s) afterwards, or something similar? That would still push Lena's limits further, just not to the same extreme extent as with pornography. Or, alternatively, that Lena and Ivy do some steamy shoots together and then decide to end the evening together, just the two of them, to release some of the sexual tension?
The previous chapter also proved that Billy and Jeremy don't mind sharing women and helping each other out. I guess Billy could also be planning on giving Jeremy some kind of role in his new business.
Anyone else got any ideas or noticed any hints from the story that I've missed?
