I think that is because its the start of the game. Also to everyone here complaining about Ian having to prove himself through stats and Lena has to just open her legs to get what she wants.

I agree. I really hope that EvaKiss does not go the THP route and make it unwinnable for Ian. I am all for playing as the underdog it makes winning the game more satisfying. As it stands Ians' story is completely uninteresting atm.

WTF are you talking about? For being an underdog, I would say Ian's doing more than fine. Of course it depends on how you play the game, but in my second playthrough, Ian fucked both Cherry and Alison (while Jeremy only fucked Louise and can't score with Eve). If we count Lena and Holly both falling in love with him, Jeremy is waaaay behind. Of course, there is a situation with Cindy but could we really expect sex with girl like her after one evening together?
Alison is not gf material, she is exactly what she is, a homie hopper. She is the least attractive of the bunch. Holly is at best bisexual. Lena and Holly are not falling in love with Ian. The only person you are fooling is yourself. Cherry is the only girl Ian has a chance with and she is not even a main character.
Yeah it's all about how you play it. That much is like GGGB, the player option to guide the characters in certain directions based on their preference (thug, bimbo, good, loyal, etc). ORS seems like it's similar, although more constrained by the world-building and preferences of the other written characters. I suspect Ian can grow to be more of a player once you rebuild his confidence after Gillian, or more of a romantic boyfriend type, or more of a sub type, depending on how the story plays out and what choices you make.
