No. GGGB had about 7000 lines of code per update and it took a month. Chapters 2 to 5 took about 1.5 months and had around 10000 lines of code. Chapters 6 to 8 had about 20000 lines of code and took about 3 months. So she has been very consistant until chapter 9.
I mean, play through chapters 4 and 7. Can't you see the difference? Chapter 4 has Lena with Robert tree times and Ian one time, a masturbation scene, the pictures from Axel, a photo shoot and selfies from Alison and Louise. Chapter 7 has Ian with Alison, Cindy, Emma, Lena, Minerva, and Holly, Jeremy with Alison, some images from Cindy's photo shoot and some random porn images, Lena with Louise, Mike, Robert, masturbating, her life modelling, her dance video, her dream of Axel, some Stalkfap pictures and Ivy's game with scenes with Ivy, Jeremy and Louise.
An 'update' is not an 'update'.
Exactly. And let's not forget that ORS tracks all timelines simultaneously because the plot doesn't wait. GGGB iirc had much shorter updates (2 - 4 scenes per update on average). And after major paths were introduced (Slut / Thug etc), there was one month for Good Ash update, one month for Slut Ash update, and one month for Thug Ash update. You had to have several saves for different paths just to get anything out of each update because it was unlikely that the featured content was with characters you personally were involved with. In ORS, we are almost guaranteed to have something with our preferred characters at least each 2 updates and not 3-4.

Oh okay i dont know about that... when we see this game still in the middle phase (If Eva really wanna finish this game with at least 20 chapter) man, i cannot fathom how complex this game gonna be in final phase... im currently choosing IT major in college, and not gonna lie, programming is A LOT harder than what we imagine, and honestly, many times i already questioning myself about choosing IT for my major:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: thats why i kinda know how hard it is to develop ORS with this much complexity and Eva does almost everything by herself from story, art and code, it just hard to believe

I love when non-writers get really angsty about the time it takes to do pre-planning for a piece of writing. It's clear some of y'all struggled to do a two page essay in school.
The writing is the hard part for me (trying my own novel out). Unlike a normal story, you have to take into account the many different paths a player can take then account for ALL of them. Then setting up the scenes alone takes time, and you have to account for every path, then the actual rendering is slow on top of it all. And then, when all this is done, you still have to program the game, and then once it is done, you need to actually TEST it to find bugs, spelling errors, problems with certain paths you forgot to account for, and if there are problems, you have to fix them and hope one of your testers didn't leak your test version.

Then you get to release it to people, often at no cost to them and listen to them complain about it and how long it took.

Been trying my hand at a visual novel and I have a new found respect for people who can write a good story, I find that more difficult than all the rest of it.

Emotional rollercoaster. I imagine it will be very amazing at first, but then Ian's patience will be tested, and he'd probably need a lot of Wits and Charisma to keep it up and prove to her that he's a better option than Wade or Axel.
Yes, in fact, I think in some ways it may be one of the most difficult paths from a writer's perspective. First of all, depending on how this relationship started, Ian may have fucked up almost his entire circle of friends. Even Lena would be outrageous if she knew what he had done. Second, that rollercoaster you described. If Ian has an organic relationship with Lena or Holly, with Cindy, even when they're having fun and being nice, it's more abrasive, Cindy likes it spicy and provocative. So this relationship will be as intense as possible and rollercoaster indeed.

Okay, guys, I want to translate Eva games into Russian, but I need to understand that someone needs it at all. Is it worth starting or is this effort in vain?
I'm not sure it's good for your health to attempt a translation of at this stage of development, while the scripts get updated all the time (mostly with bug fixes). It's a massive undertaking regardless, but with constant updates, you'd also have to check each new update for the changes in the early scripts, and if there were minor tweaks, you'd have to properly update your localization as well, just like I have to do for the walkthrough, and like JohnDupont does for his JDMOD. I was actually thinking about doing a translation for this game at one point, but I know it would be too much work for one person (even the walkthrough feels like it at times), especially if nobody's supporting you monetarily for it.

If you're not scared by these difficulties and are still committed to the idea, then maybe you could translate GGGB first to measure your ability to commit to something so big? At least you could work at your own pace and not have to worry about rewriting your translation, since the game is finished. I don't believe that game was localized properly (mostly machine translation).

If you want to focus on ORS, then let me discuss it with Eva. Our programmer proposed an easier way to implement multiple languages. If Eva greenlights it, then we can make it into an official localization, and i could provide the latest scripts so you won't have to manually check each script for changes in every release.

Well, yeah, I guess I should have been more specific. Yes, of course, at this point I'm only going to take on GGGB. My enthusiasm isn't enough to translate the same thing after rewritings like in chapter 9. I've already started translating Being a DIK and I realized that Ren'Py can be such a bitch, so I'd feel more comfortable working on something stable.

I just started playing this game and i'd like to ask, how to unlock the scene between Lena Calls Rob Over and Agrees to Photoshoot with Seymour

There's a scene in-between the two that I don't know how to unlock

I saw your walkthrough and it seems like it's scene 3-7 but i still can't get it. I went through 4 speed runs and still can't unlock it.

Additional to the scene camube misses (which is also Roberts fifth scene I assume), I also miss Roberts ninth scene (which would be Lenas thirteenth scene). IIRC you have refuse Robert occasionally to get different scenes, but everytime I pair him up with Lena, I tend to just agree meeting him whenever I can (unless Lena can chose between him and other guys).

Robert's 9th scene is a morning BJ. Yeah that's also hard to get. I'm not sure how i managed to get it either on my 4 speedruns.

I'd like to say it has something to do with Cafe life drawing + rejecting Ian after cafe life drawing fight but i'm not sure that's even necessary

The gallery unlocks are not up to date. PilotLara didn't have time to work on it. Robert's scenes have been reworked in the Remaster, and there's one scene in the Gallery that refers to an old scene that doesn't exist anymore (was moved elsewhere).

Currently, in Chapters 2 - 4, there are only 3 main scenes with Robert (that differ slightly based on how/when you get to them):
1) Lena's first time with Robert: Seen either in Chapter 2 if you bring him home or in Chapter 3 instead of the masturbation scene if you chose to wait.

2) Second time: Either in Ch 3 if you agree to have sex with Robert right after Sunday date, or instead of the masturbation scene, or in Chapter 4.

3) Third time: Either in Chapter 3 when you call Robert over during masturbation scene or in Chapter 4.

So, if you had sex with Robert at least 3 times before the start of Chapter 5, it's unlikely that you missed anything (except for the morning blowjob in Chapter 2).

Just restrain yourself and don't suck him off in Chapter 2. It's basically the same scene, unlocked twice. Personally, there's no point in having 2 separate slots for almost exactly the same scene, but it's up to Lara whether to keep it as it is or merge them under one slot.

Hi! Thank you for the answer.

I have another question. My first blind playthrough (and the first couple blind speedruns), i always managed to get the "Can I tag along" Holly's booktrip option, but once I realized there is a "Cherry Path" and once i did Cherry Path onwards (and subsequent times), i never manage to get Holly booktrip / Wade Birthday options again.

Do you know what are the requirements for Holly's booktrip?

Did I just accidentally chose unoptimal dialogue options when talking to Holly or does it have something to do with Allison's dates?

I know 2 Allison dates coincides with Holly's. If I go to 1 Allison date and 1 Holly date, is it still possible for the Holly's booktrip option to be available if i choose optimal dialogues when talking to Holly?

Or is 2 Holly dates a requirement for the booktrips? (or not chasing Cherry path)

Holly and Cherry are not mutually exclusive, you can easily date both of them. Your problem isn't handling Cherry and Holly, but handling Allison and Holly. I imagine dating those two at once is way trickier.

You don't have to interact with Allison to be in Cherrys favour at all. But chosing the two dates with Allison instead of Holly lowers the latters affection. Most likely the reason she doesn't believe Ian is interested enough in her to invite him to the fair.

Most likely picked some wrong dialogue. You need Holly to invite him to the trip in the first place, and that only happens if Ian called Holly cute and they have a decent relationship (more than 5). I think it was during Chapter 3 date, right before hanging out at the bar with Cindy and friends, where Ian can call Holly cute.
