Both Alison and Cindy are like that, with some obvious flaws that imo make them more likable due to realism than unlikable due to nature of flaws themselves :v
I feel like most characters in this game pretty realistic, its just unlike Alison and Cindy they not neccesary trow all they flaws at you due to the nature of their character, like Cherry for example, Alison likes to complain about her life and she is pretty self centered and has some insecurities(she ask you about Lena like atleast 3-4 times, even if you dont date her, she is obviously in love with you and afraid to lose you to competition), Cindy has early "midlife" crisis so she has alot of grow and self discovery going on, Cherry has alot of baggage behind her, Emily seems like the most laidback but even she has her political shtick at times, i feel like the most cliche is probably Holly(feels like every porn/romance game has "Holly"), dont get me wrong, she is not bad or anything, a bit generic maybe in terms of her problems and character grow in general.
Lena is not very realistic but she is a protagonist so i cant really blame her(3 jobs and potentially 5+ lovers +onlyfans, always looks perfect and not mentally unstable considering her schedule at her age).
Ian has similiar problems but his situation is more believable imo.

I agree, some of them are just overall "nicer" than others and it can get a little into "too nice to be real" territory, so these with blatant flaws wind up standing out more. On this note, can't believe i forgot Louise. Poor Louise, she's totally right: no one loves her /s

I hate how Lena treatment of Louise is so inconsistent in this game, they are friends at first, then you either betray her or warn her about her bf, after you fuck her your relationship suffer so much(and not in BDSM kind of way, not talking sex but everything else), Lena constantly ignores her and cockblocks her, treat her like shit for no reason(again, not how BDSM works), you can be nice to literally every character in the game(with exeption to Axel/Cherry for now), but your friend Louise is exeption for some fucking reason, you dont have any option to be nice to her it feels and she obviously has some kind of mental disorder, feels like she is bipolar and has some abandonment issues, but i'm not an expert.
Its like author hates her for no reason, if you want to go full lesbian as Lena you go for Holly and Louise, you treat Holly like a queen while Louise is just some stress relief, would be awesome if she got some character grow at some point, there also some kind of stalkerish vibe i get from her(she calls me out on me fucking Holly and teasing Stan close to end content).
So maybe she will snap at some point.

I did not like Alison's character mostly due to her need to be the center of Ian's attention. However, I believe that she only blocks the Holly path completely. Ian can fuck both Cherry and Emma atleast once while on the Alison path. However, I think she turns to Jeremy at the first chance when Ian rejects her which is possibly her play at trying to get Ian jealous enough to pay her some attention.

Fair play to her. She knows what she wants and would give Ian almost anything to get him as her boyfriend.

Not my favorite path to play tho.

I can't really fathom "someone in that position" in real life would ever choose to be defiant to his boss in his internship in terms of "realistic probability". It's plausible but the probability for someone in that position to choose to be defiant.
I don't think it's so unrealistic. Ian has some ego and views himself as a capable writer and senses that Minerva has it in for him (which she does). I could easily see him losing his temper one morning and snapping at her. You're right that it would generally not be the smart thing to do. If Ian were my friend in real life and I heard about his situation, I would tell him to play it cool until he gets another job. But I've seen plenty of real life examples of people flipping out at work, yelling at their boss, etc.

She also blocks Cindy pretty sure.
Cindy, Holly and Alison do not mesh very well.

Yeah, if you have zero points with her and side with Ivy and Stan she is quite a mess. I was wondering if one room in Lenas apartment gets opened up for Holly. This chapter was fairly suicide vibing. Stan implies to be at his breaking point and to lash out on Louise (even if he is treated well by Lena). And in reverse, Louise is just making fun of him and hopes that he kills himself so that Holly can move in. If Lena treats him like shit as well, I bat not eye if that happens. Similiar situation to Ashleys dad.

Regarding Alison: She only blocks Emmas and Cherrys path.

Agree on the ego part. Guy is anything but a sheep (even if he forces himself so, he hates being submissive to his boss and doing the dreadful office work), is ambitious and has a rebellious strike since middle school. It is the main reason why the girls can be attracted to him in the first place.

Sadly she snaps at you even at max points and never siding with Stan(still good relationship if you are neutral).
I did not get "Holly moving in" maybe because i slept with both and i dont think she likes her anymore(or maybe i missed that line).
Ashley dad was alot worse imo, Stan has great job and he seems like a nice guy(outside of all his woman interactions), the dad was such a mess in comparsion.

I remember one of my saves Ian went to Alison's trip and then to the Cindy photoshoot when he came back (and fuck her after that).
Nice, i was thinking that since you miss 1 event on Cindy side its blocked so i ignored the trip because of it.

I feel like that actually strengthen my point, at work, not on internship.

As an employee, sure, of course.

I can't fathom a 26 years old loser doing an internship choosing to say "give me a better book boss, this book is shit" to his boss and then write scathing review just to spite that boss.

As an intern I find those 2 choices too unbelievable.
He's an intern, and not even a 22 years old doe-eyed intern either, he's 26, lol.

Yeah, it's one thing in the game i don't really like. The severe relationship drop does make sense given Louise's personality, but the way Lena interacts with her regarding it is... ugly. There's never an option to let her down gently, something like "you're my dear friend and i wanted to comfort you when you were really hurt", it's hardcoded to "i just wanted to have some fun with you but now i don't feel like it anymore". And there's like, zero actual interactions friends would have between these two or any attempt to restore/stabilize things. It sucks.

I don't even get why Alison the character even likes current Ian. Alison is so driven and motivated as an individual, what does she sees from current Ian.

He's a 26 years old intern that is still a loser. Sure there is "potential" for him to be a successful author, but as it is, he's just Perry without depression (and better physique).

For the record, nothing wrong with Ian per se, but I can't fathom someone with a drive to success like Alison to be so very head over heels for Ian. If Alison's feeling to Ian is more casual fling, like Emma, like if the dynamic is flipped, Emma being the one to "give anything to Ian", I think that would make a more believable story.

Emma is an idealist that's trying to bring change to the local neighborhood, Ian wants to pursuit writing as a passion, it makes more sense if Emma is head over heels to Ian than Alison imo.

Alison sees potential in Ian, she mentions as much at some point. She's also old friends with him, so she knows what he's like before breakup with Gillian fucked him up. We can presume Ian was quite different and desirable back then.

It wouldn't surprise me if Alison had wanted Ian for a long time, but didn't make any move on him while they're both in relationships. Only when that's out of the picture she's trying to get his attention. A bit like Cherry was in love with Axel and hoped he'd get together with her after Lena fiasco.
