No i dont, tbh i dont even know why i should. Other games are other games. Made by other people, expect the same from them what i expect from a game from eva would just be stupid, and therefore my enjoyment or not enjoyment of other games is not affected in any way.

It happened to me long ago. When I first discovered adult games I could enjoy or at least get interested in quite a few until I discovered GGGB. There are a lot of different types games for different gamers, but what I'm after is a story and characters that make sense, not just a quick fap or weird fetishes. And there's nothing that comes close to Eva Kiss's work when it comes to that, plus the unparalleled choices and consequences in her games. Most games in comparison feel shallow or just dumb.
Taste is subjective and people can enjoy anything that rock their socks, but I'd say quality is more objective. And when you're looking for quality nothing can even compare to Eva Kiss's games imho

Yeah I get that a lot now. Especially after GGGB. Kinda spoiled all other games for me. I just play some others for the heck of it
The only other game that kinda peaked my interest was LAST CALL. Slow character build like GGGB but i doubt it will match it.

I know the feeling. The same thing happened to me with reading erotica, before jumping into this medium. I think it’s just a natural thing to experience once you move past the novelty of it. In my case, now I just divide games into two categories, those that have my kinks and those that scratch that good story-itch. And sometimes, just sometimes, I come across masterpieces like Eva’s work that satisfy both.

NEFARIOUZ which saves (made in what game version?) are you using? Make sure you start the new game. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 saves are incompatible with each other and Alpha/Beta saves tend to cause bugs that are resolved in the Final release. Make the new saves using this 0.2 Final release if you want the most stable experience. And by the way, Chapter 3 will require you to update your saves yet again. So just use quick saves for now.

It's definitely spoiled me with how many routes you can take and that there's no "right" answer. So, now when I play other games I get disappointed when I can't do things I would want and get shoehorned into either getting the bad end or the good end lol. I entirely agree with your last point, they do feel boring.

I had that tought when i first played BaDIK, after that game every other looked just meh...
same story for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, after that game i didn't find one title that was as good or even better.
as for Eva's games, the first one was good, but i wasn't impressed like OMG this is so fucking good...
but ORS is a different story, i can't wait for more news about the game, our chats here and ofc when new update drop and i love the fact that updates drop every month
i love a good story, and ORS has that, so for now ORS and BaDIK are my fav games on F95

Indeed. I find myself frequenting the forum now more than ever. Discussions are probably as engaging as the game itself, and it rarely happens in this genre. It's like participating in the discussion of Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, or The Witcher. I liked GGGB, but to be honest I'm not motivated enough to replay it and explore other scenarios (especially considering how disgusting and outrageous most of them are), but I am with this game. As long as it keeps its level of realism and exceptional writing, I'll enjoy dissecting the game and exploring every single opportunity (though I'd have to do it anyway for the walkthrough). I know I said that I'll probably wait for the Beta, but I admit that I really can't wait to see what's new in 0.3 Alpha and I'll probably play it, just won't bother saving this time.as for Eva's games, the first one was good, but i wasn't impressed like OMG this is so fucking good...

I don't totally share this point of view even if I am a huge fan of GGGB. Here is my feeling about that:
- I think GGGB has filled a blank in porn games due to the combination of the writing quality, the multi-paths story and its "occidental" drawing style. I have to say I don't really like manga style (except in a few games but it's really rare) so the drawing style of GGGB was a big satisfaction for me.
- On the other hand, I played a lot of Daz3D based VN here but I'm not (yet) jaded by that. I am still aroused by realiistic faces and bodies even if renders are almost the same in several games. I think it depends on what you expect in terms of lewdity and quality/progression of the story and how both are combined. But I totally understand those who are fed up with Daz 3D renders...
- Personally since I'm here, I would say that Visual Novels has killed the game (so to speak haha). I was a player of LOP games too but oh man I remember how some of them had awful mechanics, I wouldn't be able to play at them anymore... I don't even talk about RPG games (many thanks for F95 people who transform RPG in Ren'py games
)... Needless to say repeating the exact same thing ten times to make one little step forward in the game becomes quickly boring and disappointing.- A key aspect for me is the amount of content to discover. I said it here before, I discovered GGGB at its very beginning with v0.01! Lucky me, I kind of forgot it and found it again at v13 or something and the quantity of content was already huge at this point! I felt that feeling for other games I started which were already far in the story or finished (like Acting Lessons and Being a DIK I discovered last month and found them really breathtaking or WVM which is also very good for me).
Some games here have very short updates and it can be very very frustrating. Now I have made the choice to wait a few updates before playing again on a few games and I have been pleasantly surprised by the story and the progression of some I have recently rediscovered like Light of My Life or Dog Days of Summer, for instance.
- But where I think we share the same opinion and it's my last point: I'd say adult VN games makes a lot of (mainstream / tube) porn boring...

I've been beating my meat with not a tenth of the enthusiasm since playing this game. Eva is my hero, yet also my biggest nemesis. Can't wait for Chapter 3!!

Exactly. For one, no mainstream porn has these kinds of stories (or a story at all) and the ones that do attempt to have a story has such bad acting it's useless. Not to mention these VNs offer you kinks/fetishes that just aren't going to be in a mainstream porn.
