Yep, two full-fledged routes, as far as I knowIs there any true lesbian route in this game guys?
Well, the full Alison path overlaps the Holly path. Just as Holly and Cindy path are impossible at the same time. There is a loss of interest, but not a permanent one. But keep in mind that just because something hasn't had a consequence now doesn't mean it won't in new chaptersJust a quick question since I'm just getting into it, I'm not against having some fun but obviously more interested in some characters than others. Just so I can have it in the back of my mind for the first playthough; does getting involved with some people lock out the possibility to get involved with others? (I'm thinking in terms of someone snitching and others losing interest etc)
So can I go with Holly and also Lena as Ian ?Just as Holly and Cindy path are impossible at the same time.
If Ian sleep with Holly, the sexual relationship with Lena will stop, at least for now. There are hints that it will restart in later chapters. So can I go with Holly and also Lena as Ian ?
Is this a completed one.View attachment 601364
Overview:
Lena and Ian are two very different people who find themselves in a very similar moment in their lives. Both struggling to achieve their dreams, both hurting because of love. Their lives will become intertwined, with each other and with several characters that will impact who they are and who they will become. They will be able to experience the heights of love or the depths of lust, friendship or betrayal, moral or immoral, success or failure... And you will be the one to choose. But one's choices can often tangle together and lead to an unexpected mess, so be mindful, for you thread the thread of their Red String.

Well Robert does have leverage due to being her boss, and her absolutely needing the job. It's a much more implied power dynamic but it is in the air. I agree about Mike and Jeremy though. My dude, of course, this game has an obviously corrupt narrative for Lena. Perhaps I went too far with my "realism" thing. What I meant was that the female perspective wouldn't have anything to do with if Lena wanted to fuck every living thing in the game (oops, that's practically a case of ORS already). For a truthful perspective, what matters is how she would react to it, for example.
As for agency, I agree that sometimes Lena should have more control over the situation. For example, in the case of Axel. And it would be good if the next chapters highlighted this. But right now, I don't think this narrative seems too deliberate. I mean, who does she have to deal with? Robert? She's using him anyway. Mike? He has no control, only Lena falls in love with him for some reason. Seymour? Nah, that's not possible yet. Jeremy? Well, she uses him, but really I wish there was more to it than the clichéd BBC pornish "go black never go back" corruption path, yeah. As for the good guys, yeah, we've discussed that more than once. But I doubt that the main cast of characters will expand, or at most one or two characters will be added, because branching out for existing characters is already becoming very difficult.
I would say she is already corrupted when the game starts. My impression is rather that Lena is fighting a conflict between her rational and libidinal self. Many of her reactions make sense under the impression that her sexual urges dominate her rational beliefs. This is also the result of the society that surrounds her but at times she just can't handle herself despite her strong personality.Well Robert does have leverage due to being her boss, and her absolutely needing the job. I don't agree about a truthful POV being reactive. A female perspective would relate both to how a woman approaches a situation and reacts to it. Think about it, society has treated women as "lesser than" for centuries, yet intrspections from women throughout the ages have always focused on how they approach life, and react to it, because that's simply a huge part of the human experience. This is also integral to writing good characters, making them feel like they have their own thoughts and ideas on their intended lifestyles so they feel oriented in the world. A lot of Female protag games simply have the character moving from one even to the next and "just going with it", they end up being a character who is moved by the plot, as opposed to their own individual. Now i don't think ORS is wholeheartedly like that, Eva does establish Lena as a character, she has her own motives, and values(much more than ppl give her credit for), even her dynamics with ppl she's close to reveal more about her character, the main problem is that much of her choices are kind of just there for the corruption aspect. Not much thought is put into whether it makes sense for her character, or even how this would affect her going forward. It's pretty clear less thought was put into her path, which sucks because i like both her and Ian.
on another note, there's so much more potential for her route in the characters that are there. Like Louise could have been a proper LI, and Ivy, Eva hasn't revealed what she going to do exactly, but it seems to be another corruption path, which i'm not against in and of itself. I do however think Ivy as a character has a lot to offer as a proper LI with Lena due to their past, and it doesnt' even have to be a healthy romance neither.

So the game's completed?
I wasn't talking about the perspective being reactive. I was saying that perspective is independent of whether the character lives in The Land of Cockaigne or in a complete dystopia where all men are freaks and rapists. At both extremes, too, it is quite possible to create a plausible perspective and reaction and approach to problem-solving and to life and her own personality, aspirations in general on the part of a woman.Well Robert does have leverage due to being her boss, and her absolutely needing the job. It's a much more implied power dynamic but it is in the air. I agree about Mike and Jeremy though.

This is a good breakdown, and I agree that it's among the main reasons why ORS is better than GGGB, and not least most other games with similar themes. Maybe "corrupted" isn't really a fitting word in Lena's instance either, as it—in the porn context—leaves the subject with very little control of their own development. Most often in similar games the libidinal self wins on knockout without any real power struggle.I would say she is already corrupted when the game starts. My impression is rather that Lena is fighting a conflict between her rational and libidinal self. Many of her reactions make sense under the impression that her sexual urges dominate her rational beliefs. This is also the result of the society that surrounds her but at times she just can't handle herself despite her strong personality.
So it's a power struggle between these two poles and these two Lenas. The Lena who is uncontrolled, who longs for Jeremy's (playful) and Axel's (raw) masculinity, their animalistic power and potency, who is susceptible to toxic forms of masculinity from the start, and a Lena who wants to realise herself, who knows that she is more than the sum of her hormones and that the only way to be herself is to resist these urges and keep her nymphomaniac tendencies in check.
For me, this is also the main reason why ORS is better than GGGB. Lena is not just a pure soul who is being corrupted. She is a human being struggling with different aspects of her own identity.
