Skimmed through the Patreon comments on the NPC poll, along with Eva's responses to them, to get a better sense of what's motivating some of the voting and what she thinks about it.

Looks like 2 interesting themes as it comes to Marcel, one being more character driven: Curiosity since he physically comes across as imposing, but his personality differs from expectations (e.g., a good dude), and people would like more friendly male characters. This also appears to drive some of Jeremy's popularity among Patreons (he's not antagonistic to interact with, usually a friendly bro). The other theme for Marcel is kink related, about his body size, and how that might work with the ladies, especially smaller ones like Holly.

Another note is that Eva mentioned that she understands why Louise is not popular, as Louise has only either been a foil for Stan or a pet for Lena. Eva mentioned "content creep" a few times, in that she has ideas about Louise related scenes to flesh out and humanize her character, but she hasn't yet had the time to implement those ideas as she's balancing so many storylines.

-Marcel is essentially a blank canvas: he got votes because people want to see what Eva is capable of doing with him... When you look at Lenas "LI options", theres no surprise there . Stan is the "underdog", so thats why people vote for him to actually have a chance with the model (clearly only in fantasy land ).

Of course this game has corruption (and we want it to have it), but that doesnt mean it cant be a good story with well-written and balanced characters AND some vanilla in it.

I loved how you ranted about how Geralt generalized Stan fans has them being incels, but then proceeded to do the EXACT SAME THING with the votes: Votes of the patreon say X, so the opinion of EVERY FAN in the world is X . (I just gave you an opinion of the exact opposite and some reliable scenarios as to why some characters got those votes).

I would like to add that I personally don't consider various fetishes as something terrible and I don't judge these people, it's just that many of us expect much more from ORS than just a fetish of a porn game. For example, I recently ran through several AVNs - in terms of plot and level of character development, these games and ORS are like different dimensions. ORS is a popular game with almost 2,000 pages of discussions and 2,500 Patreon subscriptions, and I like others expect the same from ORS.
I don’t know about others, but it’s very difficult to understand what mommysboy means, it’s some kind of special English without spelling, plus obviously off topic what I said.

Jeremy is a rather controversial dude. On the manwhore Ian route, he really seems like a good friend and you act like two chads fucking the same girls without obligation. The hardcore Jeremy BBC fans are just a minority as the hater. Overall, Jeremy is average and compared to pretty much every other shitty male character, decently utilized. He is needed to have pairs and sex scenes involving a guy, else its close to an Ian harem or lesbian fest. You can cockblock him of Alison, Louise, Lena and Ivy so that he won't get laid after breaking up with Louise, or you can let him fuck all of them.

On Ians path, he is either his best friend or semi-rival, dealing with women/lust or the gym/atletics. He is also the horniest and outspoken of the guys when they hang out. Sure, he can steal Alison, but if Ian priotizes her, he is no danger. He also has no qualms to share her. Very likely a foursome candidate if he and Ian continue to share Alison and Emma.
Who else is supposed to fill that role? Lol Perry? Most guys are outright rivals, the closest candidate for a devils threesome could be Mike, but once the Gillian drama would be revealed, that has issues as well.

While the BBC is still a thing with Lena, its not everything: Lena can manipulate his relationship with Louise and either let them break up to potentially get her herself or seduce him for a potential threesome, stealing him from Louise etc. Ian, Lena, Jeremy and Louise could also be one of the first foursomes. Its no wonder why he was the one involved in both first threesomes.

I can see your point for sure but as I said when I play these games I tend to look at the hardships and the scars of the characters, seeing both Ian and Lena suffer through really similar stuff and find that comfort in each other to confide and just have fun was a nice change of pace.
I genuinely don't look at this as "this is too easy I want smth harder" I would usually play it as a story and I tend to think about it like it's real so when I pick choices I pick what I think is right and not the best choices on the screen (just on my first playthrough) to me I guess what gives both Lena and Ian that "real" feeling is the fact that we control them and so when they're together you can feel the emotions involved because you genuinely want them to find happiness and peace for once.

I don't mind that we control what they think it's like I said let's say we're one of the two Ian or Lena and the other made a massive impression on us then we'd be thinking about that person a lot more than other people and Ig that's why I'm okay with choosing that both of them think about each other when Ik it's real unlike with Lena and Jeremy or Ian and Cherry the first time they hooked up.

But the way Ian and Cindy hesitate, let it a secret and priorize on their lust at the expense of the rest of their friends, its assholish.
