Well, I'll tell you the back story of Ahegao faces or commonly called the O-face in Japanese porno scene.
Ahegao is a popular facial expression that originated from Japanese erotica written by a man who fantasized about assaulting children. It plays off and reinforces the stereotypes that Japanese women are submissive, easily overpowered/manipulated, and that they want/deserve abusive treatment.
It was later used by other artists to portray lust, submission and desire. Something dark that started from a twisted sinister mind, took a lighter note down the line.

They're heightened reactions, certainly can be interpreted as exaggerated. But something I try to be mindful of is that we're seeing what is essentially photos of candid moments. As an example pull up any YouTube video of a real person and just randomly pause it every few seconds. You'll find some really interesting facial expressions as people transition through emotions and speech patterns. Ones that you normally wouldn't even process during a regular viewing. That's how I picture some of the exaggerated images; such as Ivy's tongue, some of Lena's orgasms, etc.
Ian's O-face that Searingfive posted is just a silly rush job by the artist in all liklihood, and I'm sure there are several other examples of that if anyone truly cared to go digging.

Well, I would buy that if it was more generally applied. Since it only shows up it's pretty clear that it's the kink for those specific routes that play a role and not an effort to show realistic motion.
In fairness, if I remember the scene Ian's face is about middle distance from the camera, it's not really supposed to be seen from an extreme close up, so why bother making sure his eyes are looking the exact right way?

I agree, Iris wasn't used to her full potential in GGGB. Wish Eva went back and added Iris content rather than shoehorn in Jasmine. I like Jasmine for what it's worth, but it's pretty obvious those scenes weren't part of the original story and were a Patreon addition.
