I'm kind of worried that the content for Ian will be weak forever. As it is he's just Eric v2. I mean yeah it's from the same dev but that was a female protagonist only game so it's hard to compare.

I'll post my own two cents for this update if it's worth anything.

I liked the little nuances Eva's added with this update, the little bits of story and the new renders for certain scenes. Do I think it was necessary to delay the next update and polish a game which wasn't really in dire need of polishing just yet? Nah but maybe Eva just needed some stall time to get the plot in order.

That being said my huge gripes were the sudden ethnic changes to Billy and Holly's pairing off with the guard. Just felt really weird and unnecessary as someone that played the game multiple times previously. My opinion is probably a drop in the ocean and at the end of the day, Eva still calls the shots but it would be nice if they could be changed back.

TLDR - Liked the little things but felt unnecessary, some character changes felt really weird and even more unnecessary.

I'm just playing... sort of. Sort of not. Putting all these limitations on the story you want to tell based on political objections gets really tiring though, since it's everywhere. It's like making a movie about Silicon Valley and not putting any Asians in it because that's a "stereotype".... *Looks at racial make-up of large tech companies... wonders*.

I'd hate to see Eva's remake if the game was about the NBA.

Even if he is, aren't the players that want to see a cuck Ian annoyed by the amount of development resources being wasted on his stuff? I don't know, it feels like this game has a lack of focus problem but we will see.

My main concern with almost all Ian routes it's that I have the impression that even in a single focused route, I'm not sure if I will have a succesful ending. Seems to me that in almost all the romantic routes there are an unknow problem/variable that it's gonna hit later in the game without any control by our part, as a players. I didn't have that problem on GGGB, I mean if I did a focused character route, I didn't have this feeling of problem/variable out of my control.

And of course with Lena routes I have the same concern.

I’m not going to sit here and complain that a game I’m not paying for took too long to come out. I don’t really think that’s my place. I’ve really enjoyed the game so far and I’m excited for more at whatever speed she produces it. I’m definitely closer to patroning her than I have been in the past. I think it’s quality work and I realize that takes time.

I got the chance to do a quick run last night in the “remastered” version, trying to focus more on the Stan content. I noticed a ton of extra details and changes to scenes across the board early on, and I liked the additional nuances.

As far as Stan goes, the teasing and building is even more pronounced in this version, and Lena is very aware and intent on producing responses from him. The photo shoot is especially hot and she wants to get him hard on purpose.

So my only commentary would be that in this new version, with all the building and teasing, when she catches him jerking off to her photos, I do REALLY think that would be a perfect opportunity for a sexual scene, even if it was just her helping jerk him off or a blowjob. Stan gets a lot of time with Lena in this new version if you play it right, so I don’t see a reason why she wouldn’t want to go further with him in that situation, given the right amount of lust points and every other dude she may have jumped by that point in the story.

Reality: It's just not plausible yet. Even with the choices made so far, it needs to be earned in the writing for someone like Lena to sleep with someone like Stan. It can be done with the right framework, but it's not there yet.

I enjoyed it for what it was it was an update for the Steam release the story flows better and we get more emotional info about Ian EX was really needed also character personality showed more wasn't expecting more than that. Stan change is way better instead of being creepy awkward he is now just awkward and someone who wants to change.

The Billy Change is wild to me and unnecessary if the complaint was he was a stereotypical rapper character you could easily change the type of rapper he is like if you want him to bet black force energy to the MAX make him like the DaBaby or you could make him a more lyrical type rapper like Kendrick or even more business-like Jay-Z but to just make him white feels unnecessary and he doesn't even feel like Mac Miller or Asheroth he feels like MGK which is way worse.

If people were bitching about him being a Black stereotype I still say this as a black guy I have seen way worst in Porn games especially and within hip-hop, in general, makes sense as it is a black-dominated field I would love to hear why the sudden change in design. I felt could've actually been an interesting path, especially an interracial one.

Wasn't suggesting that she had or that she hadn't. But I think it's a safe bet that outside pressure had influence on her decision to make the change, whether she states it or not.
