The parenthesis sums it up pretty well for me. If the relevant events/paths of chapter 10 are written to their end in the typical uninventive, everything-has-to-gradually-escalate porn game kind of way, we can expect something similar as in GGGB, with no other reason for them to be together than a sadistic meanness on Lena's part, as you mentioned. (Ian, in his involuntary celibacy, sits in the corner while having a sad wank with his half flaccid cock, as he watches Lena getting gangbanged on the bed again, taking the time now and then to declare how much bigger and better the cocks are than Ian's.)
Chapter 10 suggests that we'll go a certain way in that direction, but I refuse to believe that Eva's spent so much more time to establish the characters and the story if she'll take it to similar extremes again. I don't even care that much exactly how it ends up, I just like the ambivalence and tension in that path—that Ian and Lena are pulled in different directions, as individuals and as a couple.
I think the first Chapter 10 scene with Ian and Lena was close to perfect in that way ("one of the biggest?"). It's not like Ian is dying to hear about Axel's cock while she jerks him off—it's just his insecurity and jealousy that pulls him towards it. If he's watched Lena's Stalkfap content, the idea of Lena as a sexual creature (also without Ian's presence) has established itself in his mind, even if he's conflicted about that as well. Gillian's cheating would naturally also shape his thinking around this stuff.
It's not like Lena either is dying to talk about Axel's cock when she's with Ian, but he represents the benchmark for Lena when it comes to everything sexual. So it's easier than said to keep him out of her thoughts, and when Ian unexpectedly mentions him … she grabs the chance. Even if giving Axel that kind of presence in her new relationship also is something she really doesn't want to.
I'm hoping Eva will keep making use of that friction and ambivalence instead of settling for solutions like the "I just love talking about being fucked by other men while I deny Ian" stuff we saw the outlines of in the next scene. The former could both end in healthy or unhealthy relationships, and could involve both characters doing shitty things to the other. It just wouldn't make Lena mean or without any reflections about what she's doing; and they'd still have reasons to be together, even if some parts of the relationship ends up as dysfunctional.
Based on the Ch 11 prologue, the results of GGGB and the streamlining that Eva seems to be starting to get this game complete before we're all AARP members (which, don't get me wrong, is a very reasonable trade-off), I'm quite a bit more pessimistic. Fingers definitely crossed hoping, though.

No, the only requirements are:

Hey, I have been playing this game for a while now, and I have downloaded 3 updates each of approx 600mb. If I want to play the new one, but keep my saves, can I transfer the save files? If yes, just copy pasting the "Saves" folder? Or do I need to keep the old versions even with the new updates?

You don't need to transfer save files, they're also stored in special OS folder and as such are accessible to all instances of the game. You can simply delete older versions of the game, and keep the most recent one.
Tell Axel that you're in a relationship with Lena. That will impress Ivy enough that she'll come on to Ian later at the gym.

Yeah, I mostly agree with your objections, so I’m only cautiously optimistic. But the GGGB ending doesn't worry me that much, considering how that game started off in a completely different gear than ORS and had a much more straightforward path towards the stereotypical pornish endings.
With that said, there’s probably a very significant amount of current and potential players who want to see ORS end somewhere similar (e.g. Lena as a “mindless slut”), so that’s also something Eva understandably will have to balance with her own vision.
