On a surface I am not too excited about "Never have I ever" game, BUT if it is nicely coded with dialogue remembering events from past chapters it could be VERY interesting. Or some cute details like characters showing some spicy pictures from their phones as proof of some claim. I just hope this update will include more characters and different perspectives.

My response: yes of course....this will be a drawn out affair...I call it the LSD arc (Lena-Seymour-Dubai).

*(I initially received much flak by heavily anti Seymour people here. But my main plays have Lena embracing the sex doll role willingly so that my scenarios don't get sullied by the blackmail aspect explicitly which I think detracts from the eroticism. More erotic is for Lena to be forced into the role by her own inner sexual desires to be exhibited and manipulated.)

Yeah this is why I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment. I find it highly unlikely that multiple chapters will be spent focusing on Seymour because not only did you say that she was disappointed in his popularity you must also factor in that it's possible that most people actually avoid his route especially if they are on the route where he tries to blackmail Lena. I just don't see the dev spending a bunch of time and resources over multiple chapters solely on a character who isn't as popular as she wanted.

The "dark" tone I feel isn't going to be non/dubcon/rape related by having Seymour lose control in Dubai but instead moral corruption. I really see a point coming in the future where Lena will have to make a choice between helping Seymour screw over the city in some way(mayor race/buisnesses) or expose him. The tension will come from whether she's willing to overlook his evil business ways which destroys lives for personal gain or not.

Again I can only see any possibility of Dubai darkness even happening would only be for a possible ending. It would also have to be written where consent is absolutely unquestionably given due to Patreon's beef with anything that could even be considered rape adjacent. I could be wrong but it sounds like that wouldn't be dark enough for your tastes.

Doesn't GGGB has that kind of content? It's still on patreon

Seymour's popularity might have been disappointed to EK, but it was still ranked 3rd nonetheless

Well as I have said before, this is why developers should not be allowed to live freely. They do their best work when kept imprisoned in darkened rooms, given a minimum amount of food, and kept on task by the appropriate masters.

I think there may also be a choice on a simpler level: drop the contract and distance from Seymour in order to have a "pure" (and also poor in terms of income) relationship with Ian, or give in to the posh callings and drop Ian in favor of gaining full-term position as Seymour's "muse"/sugar baby.

Since both Lena and Ian can both depend financially and vocationally on Seymour, I do not see why they cannot both be harnessed together into an erotic puppet show that Seymour can use to win friends and influence his uncle.

It's a possibility, but the player has control over both Lena and Ian and may choose to make a stand with the latter, if they feel that'd match the character they opted in given playthrough. Ian who learns that Lena has been doing erotic shows for Seymour doesn't necessarily have to just keel over; in fact, it creates a moral conundrum of his own.

Why, yes of course. I mean one version can be SO different from another. When I played a game where Lena was hostile to Stan from the outset....it was like playing a Frankenstein monster compared to others where she was very kind. It seems to me that the case in which Lena AND Ian depend on Seymour's good graces lends itself naturally to the sexual exploitation of both. Similar to the stock porn story scenarios in which a needy couple do photo shoots to tide over a time of unemployment and wind up being ensnared into increasingly depraved situations. I believe it is penthouse forum story 43.72b.

Good Girl was also written when Patreon was more relaxed with their rules. That's how there are multiple incest story lines in that game and a straight up rape scene which will never happen in this one since it doesn't fly in modern Patreon.

Honestly this is all hypothetical anyway since that game had no funding from Patreon/violated no rules at the time of production and the dev's current project contains absolutely no content which violates Patreon's rules in the first place.

Now this is a direction that I can see Seymour's story going for Lena/Ian. He can try to excert leverage on Lena by bringing up medical help for her parents and getting dirt on Perry's dad from Ian in exchange for winning the contest.

There would also need to be a counter for this for people who reject Seymour's influence. For Ian this could be Victor/Minerva helping him if he wins the book contest honestly. For Lena I can see Seymour's route will impact her modeling side so I can see either Billy's route(with the right stats for a positive outcome) or if she sent her parents money then it turns out that her brother used it to hit the jackpot/lotto which results in enough money for her parents treatments.
